With UMass departing to the MAC, the Atlantic 10 will be at 14.  That will likely necessitate adding another round of H and H inside the conference to remain at 18 conference games.  I would look for 5 H and H, and then 8 H or A.

I thought I saw SEMO in there too?

Correct, which is why I have SEMO in my initial post. It's the only game with a date so far.

Unfortunately, I think the days of getting a home/home with a P6 team is over.  I really hate the state of college basketball, but still can't quite quit it... although that day may come.

Loyola Marymount was a home and home?  Just brutal. We’ve fallen so far.

do we not have Illinois state at home?

LMU isn't that bad they were 155 on KenPom last season.

Neutral Site:
SLU vs. Iowa in Des Moines

This might not actually be happening. I hope it does but the coaching change probably broke things down.

This is the same event the women's team played USC in this past season.  They had 3 diiferent men's and 1 women's tournament last season and the one off SLU-USC game.  So it could be tournament or just a one off neutral site game like the women had.

Loyola Chi is listed? 2 A10 Teams sounds like a stretch.

This is not a giant bracket tournament. We will almost surely not be grouped with Loyola.

Key phrase from the announcement:  "The event will take place between Nov. 25-28 and feature different pods and matchups, which are still TBD."

Sounded good at first, but now seeming less and less likely we will get a power conference team.

EDIT: looks like last year it was a combination of four team mini tournaments over two days and single game individual matchups.  It lasts several days, but the participants don't stay any more than two days.  It's a lot of teams that are in and out playing either one or two games.

This field looks bad.  Not quite as bad as what our home non con schedule is shaping up as but still bad.

No I certainly get it.

As good as we can get can still be bad.

Can't decide whether I should set up a trip and go to this off brand MTE or buy a couple more season tickets to watch Canisius, USC Upstate & Mercyhurst headline our home schedule.

Rumor has it Schertz is finalizing a deal to get a home non exempt game with Milliken this season.  Not done yet, but close.

Excited to see what the Knight’s Inn in Decatur looks like, though.

Bring on the Kramer Soderberg-led Millikin Big Blue squad. Coming off their last place showing (9th) in the CCIW, we might be able to take them.
