Pistol Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Here's what we have so far, as confirmed by Stu this morning: Monday, November 3 - vs. SEMO Home Games: Grand Canyon San Francisco New Hampshire Road Games: Loyola Marymount OkieBilliken, MusicCityBilliken, TheA_Bomb and 2 others 5 Quote
HoosierPal Posted April 10 Posted April 10 With UMass departing to the MAC, the Atlantic 10 will be at 14. That will likely necessitate adding another round of H and H inside the conference to remain at 18 conference games. I would look for 5 H and H, and then 8 H or A. Quote

ACE Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Unfortunately, I think the days of getting a home/home with a P6 team is over. I really hate the state of college basketball, but still can't quite quit it... although that day may come. cgeldmacher 1 Quote
gobillsgo Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Loyola Marymount was a home and home? Just brutal. We’ve fallen so far. do we not have Illinois state at home? Quote

They had 3 diiferent men's and 1 women's tournament last season and the one off SLU-USC game. So it could be tournament or just a one off neutral site game like the women had. Quote
willie Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Looks like a great field for us. Some power 6 programs hopefully you can beat. Quote

cgeldmacher Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Key phrase from the announcement: "The event will take place between Nov. 25-28 and feature different pods and matchups, which are still TBD." Sounded good at first, but now seeming less and less likely we will get a power conference team. EDIT: looks like last year it was a combination of four team mini tournaments over two days and single game individual matchups. It lasts several days, but the participants don't stay any more than two days. It's a lot of teams that are in and out playing either one or two games. Quote
thetorch Posted April 23 Posted April 23 This field looks bad. Not quite as bad as what our home non con schedule is shaping up as but still bad. Quote

Can't decide whether I should set up a trip and go to this off brand MTE or buy a couple more season tickets to watch Canisius, USC Upstate & Mercyhurst headline our home schedule. Rumor has it Schertz is finalizing a deal to get a home non exempt game with Milliken this season. Not done yet, but close. Quote
