Game time is 3 p.m., and all SLU fans are encouraged to wear blue. The Billikens then close the regular season next week, playing at Dayton on Tuesday night before hosting Duquesne next Saturday for Senior Night. FOLLOWING THE ACTION Saturday's game will air on CBS Sports Network, the third game of six straight that will air on the network during the day. John Sadak and Avery Johnson have the call. The game can be found on the radio dial at 97.1 FM KFTK as there is a programming conflict on KMOX. Billiken Hall of Famers and longtime SLU men's basketball radio partners Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will the call the action for all SLU games, both at home and on the road. Ramsey is in his 39th season calling SLU games, while Austin is in year No. 34. NEWS & NOTES Saint Louis enters the weekend in a three-way tie for fourth in the A-10 standings with a 9-6 conference mark. Loyola Chicago is a game ahead of the Bills in third with a 10-5 A-10 record. Saint Louis leads the A-10 in FG% (.469) and effective FG% (.554). The Billikens' 263 3-pointers are already second in a single season in school history, 22 away from the school record of 284 set by the 1994-95 squad. The Bills' 772 3-point attempts is a single-season school record. Robbie Avila leads the Bills and is fourth in the A-10 with 17.1 ppg. He leads all centers in Division I in assists (4.0) and 3s made per game (1.7). Additionally, Avila is one of six players in Division I averaging at least 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Gibson Jimerson is second on the team and fifth in the A-10 with 17.0 ppg. He enters Saturday's game tied with Anthony Bonner for most field goals in a SLU career with 774. Isaiah Swope leads the Bills and is fourth in the A-10 with 4.6 assists per game. His 16.1 ppg ranks ninth in the league. Swope needs two more treys for 300 in his career. When he reaches that milestone, SLU will join Alabama as the only other school in Division I with two players with 300+ career 3s. Amari McCottry has been solid the last two games, averaging 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds. Included in that stretch was a career-best 13 points against Rhode Island in the Billikens' last game at Chaifetz Arena. Head coach Josh Schertz is in his first season at SLU. His .776 winning percentage ranks No. 8 among active coaches across all three NCAA divisions. ABOUT THE RAMBLERS The Loyola University Chicago Ramblers have won five straight and enters Saturday's game 19-9 overall and 10-5 in A-10 play. Jayden Dawson leads Loyola Chicago with 13.2 ppg. He scored a game-high 26 points thanks in part of six treys in the Ramblers' win against Saint Louis on Feb. 14. Des Watson is second on the team with 12.8 ppg. Sheldon Edwards Jr. averages 12.2 ppg and is tops on the team with 2.9 3-pointers made per game. Miles Rubin leads the A-10 and is 17th in the NCAA with 2.4 blocked shots per game. The Ramblers lead the A-10 in assists per game at 16.2. Loyola Chicago is second in league in effective FG% (.538) and 3-point field-goal percentage (.356). Drew Valentine is in his fourth season at Loyola Chicago. He has been on the staff of two programs that have made a Final Four – with Loyola Chicago as an assistant coach in 2018, and with Michigan State as a graduate assistant in 2015. SERIES HISTORY This is the 52nd meeting all-time against the Ramblers. Loyola Chicago leads the series 27-24 and have won three straight in the series.
