The game is listed as being on Peacock,do they have exclusive rights??.. Will this be carried by ESPN+??   Hadn't seen ESPN+ listed

So many streaming services, if you subscribe to 247 sports you get Paramount+.  If you have T-Mobile you get a Netflix rebate and MLB+.  If you have AMEX Platinum you get to pick from a list of streaming services for a rebate.  So I chose Peacock.

Cutting the cord got expensive. But I use a couple work arounds to save.

Sign up with Peacock for one month - $8.  Cheaper than my tickets.

It’s what I did. I figured $8 is cheap at half the price. I have Paramount + and it has CBS sports but the best I can figure is it only streams soccer games. The bills have 2 games coming up on CBS Sports, VCU being one of them. I just can’t figure out whether the CBS sports on PPlus is the regular CBS Sports or will I need a months subscription to CBS Sports. Anyone know?

I don't subscribe to Peacock but I do recall we had a similar situation with the Wichita game. The game appeared on some obscure station which I happened to have with my Directv.

Hopefully the same.

I was able to get 12 months of Peacock for $19.99.  Do some digging and you might find something better than $8 for a month.

Lucky you! It seems that was a Black Friday deal that ended on Dec. 2. I can't find any current specials.

I hardly ever miss a game but it's gonna be so damn cold tomorrow night and I have some health issues. I may have to use my pirate if the feds haven't caught up to them yet. Although, 8 bucks to watch it without having to go out doesn't sound that bad either.

Unfortunately this is because it IS 2025. more games are moving to streaming services.
This is no different than Thursday night football being on prime, Christmas Day NFL on Netflix, or MLS being on Apple TV.
Expect more of it moving forward and hope it’s on something you already have.

No idea about Peacock at bars but I would bet no?

You will probably spend more money at the bar than you would the $8 subscribing to Peacock for one month.

I just came back from Texas. The hotel I stayed in had labelled many programs as NBC/Peacock. I  am going to try checking out on NBC/Peacock to see if they carry the game because my LG TV is out of order and I am using an older TV of a different maker I had in the house.

We are paying $19.99 for Peacock for the year, but I think that is an introductory offer.   It has all of the English Premier League games which is nice.  (Go Fulham!)    It looks like it goes up to $79.99 annually for us in July so will have to make a decision then.   @billikenfan05 is correct.   Cord cutting is a myth if you want to watch live sports.  But I have to say the very concept when I moved out of state around 2002 that there would be a way I could watch every Billiken basketball game, almost all our soccer games, and a significant amount of our other sports is still really cool, even if it comes with an ever-increasing price tag.

I got Peacock for the Wichita State game for $6.99 for a month then went to immediately cancel it.  Peacock immediately offered me it for 6 months at $1.99 a month.  Didn't take it but should of ..... failed to notice this St. Bonaventure game only on Peacock.

I don’t think you can get internet access on those old RCA console tv’s.

I got that game on another stream but for the life of me I can’t remember which one. It wasn’t Peacock.
