Lord Elrond Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Up to 91, can they hit 100 in the next 6 minutes? Quote

SluSignGuy Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 First mid range shot of the Schertz era. Holmes is running laps after the game Quote
billikenbill Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 106-65. Good outing all the way around. Quote

slu72 Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Not really sure what one can take away from an exhibition game, but I get the feeling Schertz has built a deep squad. Not sure how well all the parts are fitting in, still it seems we are deep. Am I dreaming? Quote

There are a lot of players with upside and I believe they'll be developed. Quote
almaman Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 were on this thread so I'm saying. this here; this is news to. me but now all the games coverage is listed & tv is wonderful. Ballyfandangduel good riddance. most games on espn+ making their new price hike less painful Quote

almaman Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Coach on with our radio dream team, this season post games are going to be a blast real chemistry Earl & he could be stuck waiting for a ride back from space station & never stop talking about basketball Quote
gobillsgo Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 It is so refreshing to see a team that embraces ball movement. These guys seem to love making an extra pass to an open teammate just as much as making a big shot. Real team mentality. Quote
Old guy Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Shertz is getting the results we need to have a very good season. We won this one by 41 pts and did better then Maryville in just about all stats. If we continue winning this way we will do just fine this season. Quote

willie Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 One should not take much from a game like this but I really liked Max. Several blocks . Not sure there is anyone else who can protect the rim. Minutes on this team will be very interesting. I don’t remember a Billiken team being this deep. Hope Schertz can keep most of them happy. almaman 1 Quote

We beat two DII teams, neither of which is projected to be in the top half of their GLVC conference. I found the scrimmage to be more entertaining than this game. Yes there were some entertaining plays in the game, but we will only face 2 or 3 teams as bad as Maryville. The one thing that was apparent is how valuable Avila is to this team. This all gets real on Nov 4. Santa Clara won't look anything like either of these two teams. We will find out what Schertz' rotation looks like then. Quote

Old guy Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 @HoosierPal agree the D2 exhibition games are not comparable to what is coming next. I just hope they keep on winning by 30 pts or above. Quote
