The Woman’s Team wrestled Marines this morning. Really.

Women’s team out here, looks like both 6’5” players are healthy and ready to go. One bummer, Bri Johns and Peyton Kennedy were announced, but not in uniforms. Hopefully nothing major. When Rammer talked to her, she said she feels great, so nothing major.

Part of me is wish casting/hoping that they don't wanna injure her or aggravate something that's been bothering her so she's healthy.

Both 7 minute periods they played, the Jimmy Colloton coached side scored more than the Rebecca Tillet coached side.

Rita Nazario, the Portuguese player looks very good handling the ball, Marlena Triantafylli got a block, and Mia Bergstrom got a 3, so they look as advertised. Not much to learn from this little playing time.

Love how AST Coach Zak Boisvert sprinted on when he was introduced. Coach Tate immediately started making the rounds to the people sitting courtside.

Breaking news. Thames got his redshirt (medical waiver). So we got him 3 more years.

In warmups if the Billikens shot 100 shots 98 of them were threes

Uh oh, looks like Robbie Avila twisted an ankle. The curse of being a Billiken fan…

At least he walked (limped)  off the court under his own efforts.

Yeahhhhh... it's tough being a Billiken fan for sure. I was almost certain Coach was gonna be like,"aaaaaaand we're done with this experiment!"

 

Hopefully it's just a mild sprain and he just takes the weekend off to heal.
