Women's Basketball 2024-2025

Does anyone have any info on the season? The men have their whole non-con set already and I've seen nothing about the women's team schedule anywhere.

Usually comes out around Labor Day, judging by past seasons, so I would say any time now. I have no insights on who they will play.

Lisa Stone hired by Wash U. Great hire for them.  Brought in some terrific players here and seemed like a genuinely nice person.  Hope she wins a few D3 titles there

Great fit for Coach Stone. I think she’ll be able to recruit the perfect players for D3. Wish she could have made it over the NCAA Tournament hump at SLU

Jasaiyah is a big 6'1 PF/C.  Great leaper with awesome shot blocking skills.  She was an all state 3A Illinois Honorable Mention as a Junior.  Also an excellent Volleyball player.

Chris May mentioned a big upcoming signing today on KMOX. He didn’t mention where she is from. [The main subject of his interview was the Woman's Soccer game today and the Men's tomorrow.  Men's and Woman's hoops scrimmages open to public Sept 27, part of homecoming week.]

I'm not sure Coach Tillett is recruiting locally but we did make this young lady's final cut earlier last month.  She's a double double machine out of Texas:

Looks like she had an offer from Tennessee!

This could turn out to be the top recruit ever for SLU women BB. We will be seeing some dunks at the womens game.

I can't find a full offer list but she had one from Tennessee and she visited Illinois and Iowa.

She led Mater Dei to a 2A state championship as a sophomore (spring 2023), took them to a volleyball state title as a junior last fall, and has volleyball off to a 5-0 start this season. Looks like basketball went pretty deep in the playoffs this year, too, and she was named first team all-state by the AP.

She'd be  nice get for Beatty but the staff is excited to see what she can do just concentrating on ball.

Getting someone who had a Tennessee offer and who visited Illinois and Iowa is fantastic.  I don't even care if she didn't have offers from Illinois and Iowa and the Tennessee offer was stale, this is a great get by Tillett.
