Old guy
Whatever goes in the right direction this season is a positive step for the team regardless of whether or not the dreams and lofty goals of the fans are reached. We WILL be much better this year because we were so bad last year and because Schertz is a much better coach than Ford. The team will improve significantly this year compared to last year whether we make the Dance or not. In my opinion we have a good chance to end the year ranked within the top 50. It has been moving this way for a few years, but I think it will really start to sink in when fans get treated to some of these ridiculous "conference" match-ups in bball A small sample... Cal v. SLU_Lax
I loved the old Kiel and the stage and just all of it. We were on the ground level opposite the stage. I was born in 1980 and taken to games early on. My first memory (I think) of a specific player is asking Roland Gray for his autograph his freshman year. Roland seemed amused I kept calling him Mr. Gray. Before that I just remember being at the games and liking the energy and being amused when my parents and their friends would yell at the officials. Some OGs no doubt, impressive! I actually really like this idea. If you have had season tickets for more than 30 years, not counting student ticket years, then you should get a Billiken Blue jacket. If you wear that jacket to the game, you should get access to Lorenzini's regardless of your season ticket level. Also, once a year at half time, they bring out all of the Blue Jacket alumni at half time to honor them. This should replace the autographed basketballs they give out at seemingly random times.
