2023 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (OK) G Always Wright has committed to Rhode Island. Qualifier w/three years to play.

What a name!  Always Wright.  Is he?
He is certainly a front runner for the A10 All Name Team.

It's better to be Always Wright than Always Wrong.

His younger brother, All Wright, will be a senior at Joplin HS next year. He has offers from SEMO and ULM.

Always played football at Joplin in addition to basketball.

We've got 4 openings and other A10 schools are getting players from our state. Tsk, tsk.

To Toumami Camara alerts Dayton fans he is going pro.  How long until Holmes follows suit?

Holmes declared for the draft but retained his option to return to college. Camara did not.

Have you seen anything on Tyler Burton?  He has a Covid year still available. I haven't seen anything on what he is planning.

He very quietly put his name on the early Draft list, with the option to return.

Saw this list this morning.  Yeah he slipped in there under the cloak of darkness.

242 players declared for this upcoming draft, down from 283 last year and down significantly from 353 in 2021.   I think this is primarily due to NIL money.

Dambrot's newest mercenary will somehow have played six straight seasons at six different schools, which must be an NCAA record.

I guess it's the equivalent of the do not call list, which means people will call him anyway.

And here I thought entering the portal and putting down “do not contact” was the same as just not entering the portal.  Clearly I have a lot to learn about this….

-'do not contact' a level of the portal I didn't know existed

It is mostly two types. One is a transfer that already knows where he is going. The other is a transfer that has some sort of handler that wants to market that player.
