Plus Brooke had a nice half but missed 3 basically unguarded layups. As I type this RI comes out with all the energy and cuts the lead to 11 in under 2 minutes. I understand that’s one of her better shooting games but for all other players in D1 33% FG% and 20% from 3 is not good. It’s downright awful and she brings nothing else to the game. Rhode Island did themselves no favors by not hitting a FG in the last 4 minutes. Game was theirs for the taking. Crazy that this is the first A10 Tournament finals appearance in program history. I was stunned when the announcers said that (first time in the A10 Finals). The kids really play hard and with passion. They are fun to watch and I am psyched for the final. The other thing is how physical the play was today and then super inconsistent officiating given the rough play. Fortunately, it was inconsistent both ways and seemed to even out.
