HoosierPal
Yuri Collins made history yesterday, and as this is a Collins history thread, let's put it here. Collins set the Billiken Career Turnover mark of 341, passing LaTodd Johnson. Congratulations, I guess, are in order. So what is next? The A10 (Recent History) Record is within reach with the top five listed below. The NCAA Record is way out there. Josh Sharkey who played for Samford is credited with 535 TO's . Antoine Davis, still playing with 466 TO's, likely won't catch the Bulldog. Since 2007-08 Rank Player TOV From To 1 Chaz Williams 353 2010 2014 2 Grant Golden 347 2017 2022 3 Tu Holloway 345 2009 2012 4 Chris Gaston 343 2010 2013 5 Yuri Collins 341 2020 2023
Taj79
Interesting. Three guards and two bigs. Golden did play five years; Holloway only three. Yuri should ownm this record for quite some time but that's okay.

slufanskip
Figured this was the best place to post this from Seth Davis's article at the athletic. Still probably not a better passer than H though Playmakers 1. Yuri Collins, 6-0 senior guard, Saint Louis. Collins’ numbers are so astounding they seem made up. He leads the country at 10.6 assists per game (2.4 ahead of his nearest competitor) and assist rate (51.5), and he’s sixth nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.21). During a November win over Tennessee State, he had 20 assists and one turnover. 2. Tyler Kolek, 6-3 junior guard, Marquette. The second-year transfer from George Mason is second in the country in assists (8.2 per game) and assist-to-turnover ratio (3.44), and he’s seventh in assist rate (38.3 percent). 3. Dajuan Harris, 6-1 junior guard, Kansas. Harris has been struggling with his shot of late, but he’s fifth in the country in assists (6.5) and 10th in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.07). 4. Jalen Pickett, 6-4 super senior guard, Penn State. The second-year transfer from Siena has been one of the country’s most improved players. He’s averaging 6.9 assists to just 2.2 turnovers, and he’s leading the Nittany Lions in scoring at 17.3 points per game. 5. AJ Hoggard, 6-3 junior guard, Michigan State. Hoggard has been a do-everything guard for the Spartans. He’s fourth in the country in assist rate (39.1) and 14th in assists (5.9) while averaging 12.4 points per game.
