If Mucius comes back, which there's a chance, that would give them 2 returning 4's.  i just don't see how carr would play much if at all next year.  I'd bet they are trying to sell Carr on his final 2 years there.

Mucius made it official today, won’t be returning to Wake or entering the portal.

Mizzou might be trying to get in the running for Carr.  Matt Cline who is special assistant to Gates just started following Carr on Twitter.

Isn’t Mizzou full on scholarships now?  Who else do they have that can be kicked to the curb to make room for Gates guys?

A Mizzou assistant is probably just trying to badmouth SLU to him. Mizzou has never known anything other than a zero sum game. Rise above them.

That doesn't work in politics so why would it work in this recruiting environment - just as nasty.

Do scholarship limits even matter anymore?  Could just give a walk on a $100,000/ year NIL deal, no?

A cheerleader goat a deal after she got a ball off the top of the back lard on the NCAA tourney. So why not a walk-on?

Because that cheerleader had 15 minutes of fame and is most likely attractive.
Most walk-ons are compete unknowns except for big time fans of the program they play for.

I think the point gobillsgo was making was that our walk-on spot could essentially be filled by a starter, who is given an NIL deal, if by chance we have all the scholarships used up and a stud becomes available.
