Littlebill
We looked like shite the last couple mins. But hard to take anything away when these refs were as bad as they were both ways in that second half

brianstl
I’m happy with the win. We lost plenty of those type of games in the past Zink, SLU_Nick and BilliesBy40 like this

Taj79
We looked disinterested all night. No passion. No urgency. No fire. Endured crap refs. Endured crap announcers. But a brutal win is a brutal win. See you manyana.
Bay Area Billiken
We'll take the Win, but it wasn't pretty. ISU beat the point spread. Ford had the wrong backup 2 guard playing against the ISU Zone. Every A10 Coach will watch that film and play zone against SLU. We do thank Coach Muller for the very helpful T. Adman
I wasn’t able to watch. But 8 turnovers for Yuri? I know he also had 8 assists. But he’s got to take care of the ball. Yikes. cheeseman likes this
cgeldmacher
Four guys score ten or more. Thought we looked bad offensively, but still scored 82. I like tough games like this early on to prepare is for conference play. Remember that power conference teams and A-10 teams are losing these games left and right. Be happy that we are not. rgbilliken likes this

Any time we can get a win away from Chaifetz I’m happy. We were 2-6 away from home last year. This group needs experience winning these types of games. SLU_Nick
This thread is too negative. We won and are 5-1 when the focal point of our offense went out for the season 2 weeks ago. We are learning to gel while still winning games. this is a good thing… 2010andBeyond, BuiltFordBills, RUBillsFan and 4 others like this
wgstl
Not yuri’s best game, that’s for sure. survive and advance still stands even though the stakes aren’t so high. Gotta clean it up tomorrow. lets hope Illinois state wins too.
cheeseman
Williams has not shot the ball well the little bit he has played tonight so probably didn't matter which one was in. The thing that bothered me all game was that IL State really went after rebounds and 50/50 balls. Not sure what our problem was but we clearly were out hustled tonight. How many 11 point leads do you have that you just seem to disappear and not only let them back in but twice I believe we found ourselves behind. Tomorrow this team better come to play or else they will get what Buffalo got.
3star_recruit
Hats off to ISU for mucking it up and forcing the ref to make a call and to Reeves for lighting up every Billiken that tried to guard him. Nesbitt is talented enough to be money down the stretch even when he's learning on the job. We were lucky to get out of this one alive. A10Ref
After seeing all the bad losses across the country and especially the A10 over the past few days, I’ll take that. Nesbitt had a great second half and TJ with a sneaky 10. Roll bills.

Schasz
A win is a win I suppose. It sure was butt ugly. Thought I heard an announcer say IL State was picked to finish last in the Valley.

Please don’t say “defense.” Nesbitt won the game for us in the second half. An ISU friend was impressed with Nesbitt.
