Fred Thatch is .500 from the field, which would fall a little short of the top ten for juniors. He has 17 steals and needs to reach 45 (Anthony Drejaj) to reach the junior top ten, so he's a little off the pace he needs.

Fred is listed as a RS sophomore on the SLU website.  Are we sure putting him on Jr lists is correct?  I'm thinking if Jimerson is on freshman lists, Fred should be on sophomore lists.

I think you're right. I'll fix that next time.

Updated through the GW game:

DeAndre Jones is shooting .371 from 3, which would be short of the senior top ten - John Duff is tenth with .401. His .938 from the FT line would be an all-time record for a season. He needs to reach 50 attempts to make either list, and he's currently on pace to do so for 3-pointers but not FTs.

Francis Okoro is currently .549 from the field, which would be seventh on the junior FG% top ten. His .754 FT% is a bit shy of the .803 needed for junior FT%. He's also on pace to be short of the total rebounding and rebounding average lists. However, he has 26 blocks and only needs one more to tie Kenny Brown for tenth among juniors.

Marten Linssen has a FG% of .550, which would put him seventh among juniors. His FT% of .839 would be good for fourth on the junior list. He has 13 blocked shots and needs to get to 27 to tie for tenth to tie Brown, although Okoro is ahead of him and will soon bump Chris Heinrich (28) down to tenth.

Rashad Williams is 1.000 from the FT line on 2 attempts and needs 48 more to be in contention for the top ten.

Brandon Courtney is not in the mix for any junior records.

Fred Thatch is .500 from the field, which would fall a little short of the top ten for sophomores - Kevin Williams is tenth at .509. He has 21 steals and needs to reach 39 (Jordair Jett) to reach the sophomore top ten, so he's a little off the pace he needs.

Yuri Collins now has 444 career assists and owns the all-time record, having just passed Josh Fisher (435) in the GW game. He also took the sophomore record, topping LaTodd Johnson's 142 recently - he's at 157 and counting. He has the freshman assist record (171) and his 116 in a shortened season last year ranks sixth among sophomores. His 19 assists vs. BC gave him the all-time single game record, passing Jim Roder's 18. He has 38 steals this season and needs one more to tie Jordair Jett for tenth for sophomores. He has 107 career steals and needs to reach 132 to tie Jamall Walker and LaTodd Johnson in tenth. His FT% of .767 is currently shy of the top ten for sophomores.

Terrence Hargrove is shooting .333 from three after his recent cold streak, which dropped him from being in the mix for the top ten among sophomores. He has 9 blocks and needs to get to 19 to tie Tommie Liddell and Matt Baniak on the end of the sophomore top ten list.

Gibson Jimerson is averaging 18.4 PPG in his third freshman season, which would put him second behind only Larry Hughes (20.9) for freshman scoring average. He's also on pace to finish second behind Hughes (670) in total points. He's already second in freshman three-point field goal percentage at .429, which is also good for eighth on the all-class list, and his .442 clip this year would take the freshman record, be sixth all-time, and bump his .429 to third and ninth, respectively. His 37 three-pointers last season tied him with Anthony Drejaj and Marcus Bartley for tenth among freshmen, bumped down by his 46 this season, which is already good for fourth. He is also in a 9-way tie for second most 3-pointers in a single game (7), right behind Tommie Liddell's 8, and joined SLU's 30-point scorer club with 31 vs. UMass. His .880 FT% would be a freshman record and fifth overall for a season. Jimerson is 11 made FTs away from qualifying on Career FT% - at his current career percentage of .873, he would be first all-time.

Jordan Nesbitt is averaging 9.6 PPG, a little outside the freshman top ten; he needs to reach 11.0 PPG to tie Kwamain Mitchell. He has 183 points and needs 321 to tie Lisch and Milik Yarbrough for ninth among freshmen. His rebounding numbers (4.7 RPG, 89 total) are also short of the pace he needs (5.6 RPG, 162) for the class top ten, as well. His .350 3P% is behind Scott Highmark's tenth place mark of .369. He has 19 steals and needs to hit 33 (Carlos McCauley) for 10th.

Lassina Traore has a FG% of .633, which would be a freshman record and second overall if he reached 100 attempts. But he stands at 30, well off pace. His .750 FT% would be 8th for freshmen, but he's at 8 attempts and needs 50. He would also need to play a lot more to be in the mix for any rebounding marks.

Markhi Strickland is not in the mix for any freshman records.

Andre Lorentsson is a perfect 1.000 from the field in only four field goal attempts.

Javonte Perkins is out for the season. After two seasons at SLU, he is tied for 10th all time in scoring average (15.9) with Bill Morris. He has 825 career points and will easily make it into the 1,000-point club if he returns next season. He is sixth all-time for scoring for two-year players. His .866 FT% last season is good for sixth all time in a season and fourth for seniors.

A couple of obscure additions in red.  As you know, my lists go deeper.  When someone overtakes a player on any given list, I don't erase the low man off the list, I carry them on.

I just base it on what would show up in SLU's public record book.

gibson will own the billiken record book if he truly plays his complete billiken eligibility.  those two partial years that didnt count against his eligibility will be huge on the career lists.

Last night they said there were only 4 players in NCAA history with 1000 assists. Yuri needs 554 to reach 1000. If he stays healthy and being very conservative in games remaining he has at least 75 games which would mean he’d have to average 7.42 per game which is certainly doable. Realistically though he’ll could have 80+ remaining. At 80 he has to average 6.98 per game. If he stays healthy he’ll be the 5th 1000+ assist man in NCAA D1 history

80 games 7.92 per game and he becomes the all time leader. Not an impossibility

Yes.  Who knows if he stays 3, 4, 5 or 6 years.  I'll take one year at a time.

The Billiken record book will have a combination of full Billiken career 3 year players (pre-1972ish), 4 year players, 5 year players and perhaps a 6 year player.    It is what it is, but it kind of screws up comparisons.

If Jimerson plays five years and barring a major injury, he will finish right around the same amount of career games played as Bonner.  That will be a pretty good comparison when it comes to the all-time scoring record.

@Pistol I have been waiting for your latest update, which certainly would mention Okoro tied with John Manning for Junior Class Blocks, 5th on the list!  That is quite an achievement.

Hope to update in the next few days.

Updated through the Davidson game:

DeAndre Jones is shooting .373 from 3, which would be short of the senior top ten - John Duff is tenth with .401. His .900 from the FT line would be third all-time for a season. He needs to reach 50 attempts to make both lists, and he'll only be eligible for the 3-point list.

Francis Okoro is currently .593 from the field, which would be second on the junior FG% top ten. His .756 FT% is a bit shy of the .803 needed for junior FT%. He's also on pace to be short of the total rebounding and rebounding average lists. However, he has 33 blocks, currently tied for fifth among juniors with John Manning.

Marten Linssen has a FG% of .552, which would put him seventh among juniors. His FT% of .813 would be good for ninth on the junior list. He has 14 blocked shots and needs to get to 28 to tie for tenth to tie Chris Heinrich.

Rashad Williams is 1.000 from the FT line on 2 attempts and needs 48 more to be in contention for the top ten.

Brandon Courtney is not in the mix for any junior records.

Fred Thatch is .491 from the field, which would fall a little short of the top ten for sophomores - Kevin Williams is tenth at .509. He has 30 steals and needs to reach 39 (Jordair Jett) to reach the sophomore top ten, so he's a little off the pace he needs.

Yuri Collins now has 509 career assists and owns the all-time record. He also took the sophomore record, now at 222 and counting. He has the freshman assist record (171) and his 116 in a shortened season last year ranks sixth among sophomores. His 19 assists vs. BC gave him the all-time single game record, passing Jim Roder's 18. He has 56 steals this season, good for third for sophomores, with LaTodd Johnson in second with 59. He has 125 career steals and needs to reach 132 to tie Jamall Walker and LaTodd Johnson in tenth. His FT% of .814 would be fifth for sophomores.

Terrence Hargrove is shooting .338 from three, now short of being in the mix for the top ten among sophomores. He has 12 blocks and needs to get to 19 to tie Tommie Liddell and Matt Baniak on the end of the sophomore top ten list.

Gibson Jimerson is averaging 16.3 PPG in his third freshman season, which would put him second behind only Larry Hughes (20.9) for freshman scoring average. He's also on pace to finish second behind Hughes (670) in total points. He's already second in freshman three-point field goal percentage at .429, which is also good for eighth on the all-class list, and his .417 clip this year would be fourth for freshmen. His 37 three-pointers last season tied him with Anthony Drejaj and Marcus Bartley for tenth among freshmen, bumped down by his 63 this season, which is the new freshman record. He is also in a 9-way tie for second most 3-pointers in a single game (7), right behind Tommie Liddell's 8, and joined SLU's 30-point scorer club with 31 vs. UMass. His .851 FT% would be second among freshmen and tenth overall for a season. Jimerson has a career FT percentage of .850, tied with Luther Burden for second all-time.

Jordan Nesbitt is averaging 9.4 PPG, a little outside the freshman top ten; he needs to reach 11.0 PPG to tie Kwamain Mitchell. He has 253 points and needs 321 to tie Lisch and Milik Yarbrough for ninth among freshmen. His rebounding numbers (4.4 RPG, 120 total) are also short of the pace he needs (5.6 RPG, 162) for the class top ten, as well. His .360 3P% is behind Scott Highmark's tenth place mark of .369. He has 23 steals and needs to hit 33 (Carlos McCauley) for 10th.

Lassina Traore has a FG% of .606, which would be third among freshmen and fifth overall if he reached 100 attempts. But he stands at 33, well off pace.

Ashamed to admit it, but I haven't been tracking Yuri's assists vs. the all-time season record. He's about to break it, too - Jim Roder had 235 in 1986-1987 and Collins is at 228 (as of the moment I thought of this, with 6 minutes left in the St. Joe's game).

If he hits his average on Friday he'll have the record and should end the regular season alone with 250 or more. Unarguably the best passer in SLU history at this point.

A few records updates after last night's game:

Yuri Collins

- His 9 assists puts him at a season total of 241, breaking Jim Roder's single season assists record of 235. A 300-assist is not off the table as at his current average Yuri would need just 7 more games to do it; difficult, unlikely, but not impossible.

- His 5 steals brings him to a total of 62 on the year, which is good for 7th on the single season list. 3 more puts him in 6th, 5 more puts in in 5th (both positions currently held by Goodwin), 8 more puts him in 3rd, 9 more puts him in 2nd, and 13 more puts him in 1st. All of those positions are well within reach meaning he could possibly set the single-season assists and steals record in the same season.

Gibson Jimerson

- His 5 threes brings his season total to 68, good for 10th on the single season list. Notably he is still 12 assists shy of even 10th place on the single season 3's attempted list, so at his current average of 41% he'd climb to 5th on the made 3's list before cracking the top-10 attempts - and be 1 shy of 4th place on that list. 19 more threes made would put him in 2nd on the list with Erwin Claggett but still 16 shy of Erwin's #1 season with 103.

- If considered a freshman, Jimerson is already in 2nd place for total points behind only Larry Hughes, who has a near 200 point lead in 1st. His 68 made 3s is already good for 1st, and he'd be second in scoring average behind, again, Larry Hughes. He's currently 3rd in FT% and notable already 8 attempts greater than anyone on the list (49 and 58 attempts greater than 2nd and 1st place, respectively)

- If considered a sophomore, Jimerson is in 7th place in total points with a near certainty of reaching as high as 5th needing just 25 points (1.55 games at his current average) to do so. 92 more points, or 5.7 games at his current average would put him in 1st place passing Roland Gray at 575. He needs just 3 more made 3's to take 1st place on that list.

- If considered a junior, Jimerson is also in 7th place with his 483 points. Interestingly, Jimerson needs only 25 points to climb as high as 3rd on this list, and 90 more points (2 fewer than the sophomore list) to tie Anthony Bonner in 1st. He is currently in 4th for made 3's and just 2 behind taking 2nd place from the current tie between Cody Ellis and Scott Highmark.

Francis Okoro

- Francis is 43 rebounds (5.4 games at his current average) shy of 10th on the junior total rebounds list, though the rebounding average list seems out of reach at 2.5 RPG above his current average.

Two interesting team stats, here at the end of the A10 schedule.  Total season, we have 400 TO's and our opponents have 400 TO's.

The Bills have 99 blocked shots.  Our opponents have 50% more at 149.

Individually, Jimerson is up to 1039 minutes for the season.  Collins is at 1026.  Next highest is Nesbitt at 801.
