Cowboy II
-I hope we drill Providence if or when we next get them, their fans at MSG a few years ago were able to cause an instant dislike of the program, sorry Ed
Deutschkind
Oh nice! You all can join me out here in New England! November 21 is a little late for the leaves, though.

Something we failed to get into the last few seasons. Not like playing in Corpus Christi against a bunch of nobodies. Hopefully this will be the start of annually getting into top shelve tournaments (like Maui, Atlantis, etc..). Dayton seems to do it. HoosierPal
Has anyone heard if the Mountain West A10 Challenge will be resurrected for 22-23? This Hall of Fame Tip Off seals a lot of our OOC for next season, with Auburn (A), Boise State (H), Memphis (H), NC State (A?) and SIUC (A?) already on the books. This year's HofF brackets shows only two games, with no preliminary campus games as someone earlier suggested.
Old guy
For those of you planning to attend: I lived in Boston 24 years. The peak for the fall leaves changing color is generally the first week of October, gone by now. By November 21 the temperature can be cool, or it can be subartic weather out there. If you are going, check the weather forecast before you pack for the trip. If you see a storm from the North hitting Eastern Ohio or Western NY or PA make sure to pack your down parka, gloves, and high sided shoes. Do not assume the weather will be nice in New England in late November.

Lots of big time games at this spot and CT even in November is beautiful even if somewhat cold. Make sure you go ready to eat at least one lobster roll per day at half the price in the mid-west and twice the quality. Unless snow is an issue, enjoy driving around the New England states which are unbelievably close to each other. You can fly into either Providence RI or Hartford CT on Southwest. Rent a car and see all 6 NE states and plenty of ocean towns in a 4-5 day period.

Rent a car and see all 6 NE states and plenty of ocean towns in a 4-5 day period. Snow is generally not an issue in NE, unless a blizzard is actively coming down. All of the states are amply provided with heavy duty snow removal plows and generally the main roads will be clean within the day. This does not apply to the subdivisions or small country roads. You can travel the main highways with no major problems after a snowstorm, 8 inches on the ground is not a problem there. However it IS a problem to park your car and walk the streets. The trees will have no leaves and most everything will be white, but who cares? It's NE. Recommended areas to visit: Rockport (artsy fartsy fisherman's village with lots of restaurants and shops), Marblehead (not as touristy as Rockport but pretty), Newport RI (just lovely). If you are into Polynesian wood carvings, make sure you check some of the flea markets in Cape Cod, also some of the antique shops in Salem. The Clipper ships of yore would go from China to Boston and back. They would stop in the Pacific islands to restocking food, and RR for the crews. Being an hour or more from any airport or city is a big EH for me..
