thetorch Posted August 15, 2021 Share Posted August 15, 2021 The Hawks released this non con schedule - 11/2 SLU, 11/6 #24 St. Thomas Aquinas @ St. Joseph Mo, 11/7 #75 Northern St @ St Jospeh Mo, 11/12 Vs #154 Davenport, 11/13 Vs #193 Purdue Northwest, 11/17 Vs. #162 Emporia St, 11/23 Vs. #63 Missouri Western St, 11/27 Vs Concordia Neb (NAIA), 12/9 Vs Baptist Bible College (NCCAA), 12/14 Vs York College NE (NAIA), 12/18 Vs Avila (NAIA) Very unimpressed with this schedule. Gets two top 100 neutral site games to start the season and then plays two games in the always exciting GLVC VS GLIAC conference challenge. They then settle for mostly lower tier D-2 teams and then stunningly go out of division for 4 straight cupcake games to end the noncon. Also their only true road game is their tuneup match against us. I guess with 6 newcomers HC Drew Diener is counting on a light non conference schedule to allow the team to jel for the always tough GLVC conference play.
