Official SLU News: WBB Preview: Bills Open WNIT Friday vs. DePaul

Recommended Posts

As most people know SLU WBB has never been to the NCAAs.  Prior to today I believe they had only won 3 NIT games in history as well (all under coach Stone during the Jackie Kemph era).  Make it 4 NIT victories now.  Best part about the WBB NIT experience is that all of the players getting run should return next season.  Getting some single elimination experience is very good for a team that will be looking to make the first ever NCAAs next season, but likely needs to win the conference tournament to do so.

wow! a 2 point win. Thanks!

This was a good quality win. Unlike the DePaul Men's program the Women program has a coach, Bruno, who been at DePaul since the 80s. Also has a impressive post-season record with several Sweet 16s.  Go get them Lady Bills!
