We've got our hands full with the Bulldogs. Lost to Dayton in OT, Beat Kentucky by 1, and lost in OT, Beat Mizzou by 15, beat Fla. by 15, lost to Bama by 8, 7, and, of course by 35, and beat Ole Miss by 10.

The above is the most I know about Mississippi State, but it would be embarrassing to get bounced in the first round.  But the above makes it seem like we could.

I'm not optimistic, just glad they got some post-season and hoping for the best.

If we beat them we'll win it all.

Shout out to Dickie V whose main gripe was that Belmont didn’t make the Big Dance and here they didn’t even make the NIT. Lol.

Dukie V is a relic that needs to be retired. He brings zero to college basketball and has for years!

The Big East must think the NIT is now below it. Louisville (ACC) and the 3 Big East NIT range teams, Seton Hall, Xavier and St. John’s all opted out of the NIT.

Meanwhile the supposed NCAA multi-bid A10 actually has 4 NIT teams: SLU, Davidson, Richmond and Dayton.
Bravo A10!

The Big East teams were afraid they would get their arse kicked.  Bad optics for the high and mighty.

Bravo A10 (blue ink needed)!

The "name" programs became what they are by winning.  Now, that their seasons are not what they normally have been, they are smart to shut down, especially in this odd COVID year and protect their name - by not playing future.   They have plenty of revenue from their current seasons and from prior year NCAA  Tourney credits.  Smart.

See you there.

Yeah it's probably 4 hour drive from ATX.  Plus, I've never been to the Star (Dallas Cowboys new facility).  FC Dallas plays in Frisco.  The city is all new and strip malls etc but it has a lot of hotels and restaurants.  Fly into DFW and rent a car or Uber north.
