As for the A10, if these schools want to stay relevant going forward, the time has come to take the hard road and cull some programs. Fill in the empty slots iwith more solid citizens so to say. B'roy has promoted some standards for being a member, ie budgets, facilities, et al. A few of the members don't meet them. Also, geography should come into play. It's clear the conference needs to expand it's western footprint to ease budgets for the non revenue sports. 

There are at least 3 programs one can think of that are a mess. It's becoming clear which way the NCAA is going with their crown jewel, March Madness. That should be obvious to the casual observer when they selected MSU, NET 70, and WSU for the dance. They are catering to the P7. We need to make the A10 stronger, or we're going to get left behind. It's not a matter of IF it's WHEN.

That being said, the time slot of the A10 Championship game is pretty fantastic.  You're on CBS on Selection Sunday during a prime sports viewing time.  People like to watch sports on Sunday afternoons.  Years of the NFL & golf has trained them that way.  You've also had nearly a whole week/weekend of Championship week getting people hyped up about college basketball.  Kudos to the A10 for getting that slot on CBS.

This is why they waited a week for the championship game.

willie no one is concerned about the date of the championship game.  brenda's FU was moving the rest of the tourney up a week.  that was a huge mistake.

I am not saying moving the tourney  up was not a mistake. Just saying they waited a week for the championship game so as not to give up the Sunday CBS game.

About the only thing she did right.   She is not an asset to the A10 from my view.  She needs to be fired.
