How much does our NET improve if both LSU AND Bona win? We're at 43 currently. Do both of those teams winning put us into the 30s?

LSU only moved one spot after beating a highly ranked Arkansas team yesterday..

Unfortunately, I don't think we will get in. But, it IS worth noting that most Bracketologists are off by 1-3 teams every year. I think Lunardi has correctly predicted an average of 66.5 out of 68 teams since the field expanded to 68. And this year is more uncertain than most. So his bracket likely has 1-2 spots of 'wiggle' room.

Also as someone mentioned yesterday, I bet they already have 95% of the bracket figured out before the bonnies and LSU game ends

They actually pre-develop different brackets for all the potential scenarios left with the games to be played today. So their work is done, it’s just a matter of how the dominos fall and which bracket corresponds with today’s results.

Duke University issued a quarantine order for all of its undergraduates effective Saturday night due to a coronavirus outbreak caused by students who attended recruitment parties, the school said.

The university said in a statement that all undergraduate students will be forced to stay-in-place until at least March 21.

We're being displaced by teams with NET rankings in the 70s.  The NET ranking is being used as a general purpose sorting tool but in edge cases, it's being ignored in favor of big wins, conference record and road wins.

Without the extended COVID pause, we're in a much better place on all those edge case tiebreakers.  Coach Ford has smartly lobbied that point all week.  It was the only hand he had to play.

The A10 is a 3 bid conference year in and year out. The programs have that kind of talent and the conference deserves that respect. The committee should make that happen. The MVC is a 1 bid conference.

What is frustrating is that bid stealing is allowed. They should establish the number of teams a conference, big or small, gets in, and then boot the lowest team in that conference if a new team wins their tournament. For example, UCLA should be out now and UCONN as well.

The NET is being ignored in the cases of 2 Power Conference gift bid recipients in Louisville and Michigan State.

Why? Follow the money. Each game played in the NCAA Tourney produces an NCAA Unit valued at $1.8 to $1.9 Million.
