Loyola doesn't have a quality win... nothing that even sniffs lsu or nc state... Would love to draw them in the tournament

NC state is no longer a win we can use.  Minnesota is starting to slip to what we were thinking they would be.

NC State is a Q3 win for us.  Loyola has 4 Q3 wins and today is NET #13.  St. Bonnie continues as our highest quality NET win, better than LSU.

NET Team Sheet Loyola

0-1 Q1

3-2 Q2

4-0 Q3

8-0 Q4

NET Team Sheet Billikens

0-1 Q1

2-0 Q2

2-2 Q3

4-0 Q4

are the Q2 wins Bradley and North Texas?

If this was high school, the MVC would be Class 2.  It's one thing to have a couple of losses in Class 4 or 5 but another thing to lose to a bottom feeder in Class 2. Loyola at least showed they could hang with tournament-caliber teams in nonconference.

The pollsters were looking for the first sign of weakness to kick them out of the club and Drake gave it to them.  They will have to do a lot of work to erase the memory of that loss just like we'll have to do after losing to La Salle.  But at least we can point to the COVID pause.  Drake has no excuse.

That is the sticky issue with teams that win with efficient shooting. At some point along the road there is going to be a poor shooting night. If the other team shoots well it will be an L. Without opportunities in the nonconference, Drake doesn't get to show off its upside, knocking off a top 30 team. It leaves the committee with an incomplete picture of the team.

Ah indiana st and Mo st.. Honestly think Bradley and North Texas are more impressive

You are free to think what you want.  N. Texas has a NET of 79, MO ST 111, IN St 123, and Bradley 151.  So I'll give you one and say no to the other.

MO State will remain a solid Q2 game for the Ramblers, Indiana State would have to have a bad loss to go to Q3, but the Rambler's N Tex win could move over to Q2.  Also, their loss to Richmond has a real chance to move to Q1.

totally fair. Just basing my Bradley thought after seeing them play mizzery.. Shoulda won that game.

It's real interesting how these wins will shake out in the end. Much more confident in our resume to stay solid given our noncon had major conference wins (usually don't falter too much in NET) and a team like Indiana St. could split against valpo and evansville and all the sudden be in a bad spot. N Tex was a great win, though. That's a heckuva team.
