They are still faithful readers of my posts because they keep responding. They just hate themselves for it because I am the one posting it. It’s a cycle rinse/repeat that they find difficult to escape. Trolling is a low self esteem thing. The silent majority can feel sorry for the trolls and at the same time, enjoy that those topics keep going. That’s great for those programs. 

The non vocal majority is smart enough to just read the information and have normal interactions. Maybe say thanks once in a while, maybe add something of their own, or ask something once in a while. It’s all good. 

I like how you laid out a spectrum of poster archetypes. Like how there's different kinds of train cars but they're all train cars ya know? It's fun to categorize things and make sure they're all in the right place.

The above post is troll behavior, it's not a normal interaction and it was a response to a poster genuinely trying to have a good faith conversation about SLU Women's Soccer. That should be enough for any person who cares about SLU Women's Soccer. You chose to insult him and tell him he doesn't know what he's talking about. People won't dislike you because they have low self esteem, they won't dislike you because they are trolls,

Jump on and insult other posters in a manner that no one else on the board ever approaches.

Disagree vehemently with the poster but don't explain why you disagree with them.  

Write novel length posts that say nothing.  In this instance if you know how SLU plays vs North Carolina just explain it.  Instead you resort to cliches and buzzwords as you do in almost every post you make.

You are the biggest troll on the board, and I wish you weren't.  You are knowledgeable on soccer, you are just incapable of imparting that knowledge in this medium.  Then when called out you play the victim card.

In your last few posts you have disparaged Brian Kunderman, who actually does post here occasionally, and is held in high regard in his profession.  You claim to be an AD insider and you don't like Brian Kunderman?  Then you called another poster autistic?  All this after you go on your Walter White like "I am the Source" rant.  All the while having your burner accounts like your posts.  No poster in the history of the board has been allowed to act in this manner for an extended period of time without being removed.  I don't know why you are special.  You've made following the soccer teams on the board impossible to do.

Repeating the same lies over and over again doesn’t make them true. 

Unlike you and the same few trolls, I can and I do actually discuss the topic. 

Geldmacher said SLU was the only school paying soccer player NIL. This is false. SLU was slow to pay soccer players compared to the better programs. SLU lost recruits because of it. The coach has been outspoken saying more money is needed for the transfer portal. Many of the good soccer programs pay their players. It would be fair to say SLU is very competitive with money with non football four programs. 

Geldmacher said SLU was one of few schools that have newer soccer buildings next to or attached to their school. This is also false. Many programs have this. It’s very easy information to find. Many examples were posted in response to his Aug 15th post in the Men’s Soccer thread

Geldmacher implied that the reason this recruit chose another school was more money. That is false. It is true that SLU made a competitive offer. But that is standard with those type of best in class players from other schools too. That just keeps you in the game. The decision was not based on money. I also am familiar with this particular recruitment. At the beginning of the process she had to be convinced to consider a school in the Midwest. 

Geldmacher suggested one of the reasons this recruit didn’t choose SLU was the coach’s playing style. That is false. The coach and her playing style are among the biggest reasons she considered SLU in the first place. No Katie Shields, no SLU as a finalist.

Geldmacher over simplistically and incorrectly described SLU’s playing style as well as at North Carolina. i am happy to break that down further elsewhere. 

Geldmacher can speak for himself about any or all of these examples and why he chose to post them. The few of you can ask yourselves why you were so quick to believe them. 

It’s simple enough to speak about what you know, see, and experience. Lord Elrond goes to home games, he does a game thread about what he sees and experiences. Seems simple enough. He didn’t do podcasts about Spring games he didn’t see, watch, or attend. You just keep doing this to yourself for years. You guys lied, you plagiarized, you got caught. You could have simply owned it and moving forward at the time instead of hanging on to it for years. 

You  can troll all you want. I’ll still be posting soccer information in the soccer threads. Thanks for reading.

3 paragraphs, none about Geldmacher’s posts. Why not discuss what you initially mentioned? Why not discuss the topic? If you are a sincere poster, why gaslight and change the subjects? I don’t need to discuss a few years ago and I haven’t since that time. 

Everyone is welcome to post here. Soccer knowledge or behind the scene information is not required. It’s also okay for me to point out examples like Geldmacher posts. I post information. If I see incorrect information that I can easily clear up that’s fine too. 

People troll to gaslight and distract from the topic because the facts aren’t on their side. All it does is keep the thread going and going which is great for the program. If other posters don’t like the thread clutter, they would have to take it up with the trolls. Otherwise, it’s all good.

Hey you should check out Football Manager, FM26 is delayed because they are upgrading to unity engine. Something you might be interested in is that they're adding Women's Soccer this version. 

Super detailed, tactically, player evaluations, and very active online community to discuss it all in detail. Also many youtubers, I recommend ZealandonYT the rare American FM personality but he's hilarious a UVA guy (I think).
