We definitely miss Hannah L. She just creates so many turnovers. Plus her ability to take people on and just make things happen.

Totally.  Everyone is just kicking the ball.  She would control and go.  It’s like we are in panic mode without really needing to be there....

Come on Ladies. Let’s get this done. We need to find another gear. We looked to be hanging on the final 5-7 min. I wish Bri would have brought that ball down just outside the box with about 2-3 min left rather than just sending it into a crowd. She had space

2 periods of OT. it is shorter than pro by 10 minutes combined. two 10 min instead of two 15 min.

Thanks.  Again, Noob here.

I was also surprised the clock sometimes stops.

SLU would want those ten extra minutes right now

Disappointing but Congratulations to the women on a fantastic season. They didn’t get a NCAA win but the bye is really the same as a win. First time in the 2nd round and we are so young. 3 out of 5 PK’s by frosh. We took another step forward this year. Now just keep rising.

Bad luck with Larson out and had some chances and more bad luck in the overtimes. We had a great team. The A10 being so weak does us no favors in getting ready for these games but we proved we could compete with the non conference schedule this year. Just didn't go our way tonight. Excited for next year.

Tough loss for SLU. Washington is a difficult style matchup. They are very good at limiting chances. They don’t make a lot of mistakes. Not the best played game by either team, but a good effort from both sides.

Difficult to play without Larson, who was a top 20 National Freshman much of the year. It would have helped to open things up for some others. Friedrick didn’t get enough touches until overtime, when she had a few good chances. And SLU Didn’t get enough from Miller and Groark offensively. SLU moved a few people around multiple times in the game.Hoping a healthy Larson is back with Lawler, Cytron, Gaebe, Smith, Friedrick, Miller, Kelly, next year, for more depth up front.

In fairness, Washington was missing a few players too, including Summer Yates, their best offensive player, and two time First Team Pac 12. Both teams were missing players.

At times, SLU had some difficulty containing Ameera Hussen in the central midfield. She had a good game. Back line was solid for both teams. Beach and Halverson were good and active. They talk about Pang a lot for a reason. She is a good player in back.

SL was Round of 32, top 16 seed. Another A-10 Double Title. Very good season with a tough ending. This is the kind of game SLU needs to win to take the next step forward. They return most of the team with good experience, and, they add a few good players too.
