So let's check the "rust" stats...We had medium damage which means it will take about 5 games to get back to where we were...The Rich game will be #2. This is what the rust factor will mean for this game... Loss by 6 or less....holding steady Loss by 6+... we are slipping A win by 6 or less ....we are improving A win by 6+ ...we are ahead of schedule Coming into this game we are an A- team...the good news is that we are still on pace to Dance ...so 4 more games is not only our recovery time but also the min number of games we need to Dance. Rich comes into this game as a B+ team trending at B. Their offensive grades look similar to Day with 1 exception....they score more...and they do so at the expense of their D. Their defense is a big step down from Day. We need to dominate the boards....Day is a weak reb team ...Rich is even weaker....turn the rebounding around...Bills by 8 in reb. Rich has a very balanced attack...strong starting 5....after that ...not so much....Inside shooters are Golden, Burton and Cayo...outside shooters are Golden and Burton. ...This will be a tough defensive assignment...Keep overall FG% to low 40s and 3P shooting below 30%...How? They are a good shooting team ...when left alone....don't leave them alone...no open shots ...hand in face....dog them, especially the starters. Finally , we need a good night shooting....50/40/72...if we get those numbers, which are very doable...we win. Bottom line....This is showing as a close game...if we can just click a little more than the Day game , we can win this. I honestly don't know if he touched the ball 10 times last game. As many have said, if he's not getting shots up, he doesn't offer much other than drawing attention from the defense. Hopefully we back to firing 3s. This is our best shooting team in a long time but I feel like we take less 3s than ever.
