All 32 conferences will get a share of $53.6 million, with the rest of the $172 million split up based on 'factors the NCAA did not reveal publicly." That statement raises some huge question marks. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/ncaas-annual-distribution-to-division-i-schools-to-be-225-million-down-from-expected-nearly-600-million/ Let me try to translate the "NCAA" speak for you. the 32 conferences will get their $53.6 M to split anyway they want. The rest of the money, $172 M, will be assigned anywhere the NCAA wishes to assign money to. No rule, no even distribution, nothing but subjective decisions by the NCAA to reward specific programs or conferences.
Compton
Makes sense that a UNC, Kentucky or Texas would be allocated more revenue than a McNeese State, University of Maryland Eastern Shore or Alcorn State considering the amount of revenue they generate.
