The Wiz
After a poor FT shooting night by Ark -PB ( 45%...9-20) The Bills crawled out of the cellar to #352. But the big FT futility numbers came from Nebraska. In an OT loss to Northwestern, the Huskers shot 26.67% ( 8-30) from the charity stripe....It was the worst FT shooting in over 10 years for teams that took 30 or more shots. In addition, the Huskers shot 35.2% from the 3 pt line. Also, the 1st time in over 10 years where a team shot over 35% from 3 and less than 30% from the FT line. The Neb tie to The Bills is that if we can shoot around 65% FTs at the GM game, we can move ahead of Neb too.

Clock_Tower
Wow. We already hold the lowest points in a game... maybe another record for us is within our grasp?

Won't happen...Neb will be so rattled after their 26.7% showing that when they play at 25th ranked Mich, they will be lucky to hit the backboard. This will be their 15th loss in a row ...so the FTs are a minor issue. I expect the Bills to move ahead of Neb by Fri.
White Pelican
As far as records, I'd love to be the first team to make a Final Four while sporting the worst FT percentage in all of college basketball. (I'm assuming it's never happened. Seems like a safe bet.) Billiken Rich likes this
