No, and we're probably already late to the party on that one. Top-25 national player. Just visited Oklahoma State. Texas, Oklahoma, plenty of others are prioritizing him.

He also has made an incredible recovery after being shot in February. He was in critical condition and had surgery to remove two bullets.

I would be cautious with someone recovery from gunshot wounds. The body reacts like a Gel Block to the passage of a bullet. That means there is a track hole made by the bullet, there is damage to any major organ or structure it goes through, and bones are broken. However the soft tissue (muscle, nerves, and blood vessels) shake violently during the bullet's passage, and may be significantly disrupted even in areas not in the bullet's track. After such an injury, the soft tissues of arms, legs, and muscles, even without any major bone breaks of direct arterial injuries, will not act normally for a period of time determined by the severity of the injury. If this player was in critical condition last February and recovered (meaning he did not die), he may not be fully up to his prior level of play yet. I would rather see him going elsewhere rather that get a long rehab prospect in the team.

Youssouf Singare - C, 7-0, 185 - Bamako, Mali (Upper Room Christian, NY) - AAU: New Heights Lightning (Nike EYBL) - Twitter: @youssoufSingar1
Offers: Saint Louis, Seton Hall, Providence, St. John's, New Mexico.

Interest: Connecticut, Rutgers, Arizona State, Pepperdine, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Coastal Carolina.

Latest News: Singare received offers from SLU, Seton Hall, Providence, St. John's, and New Mexico. (6/23/21)

Scouting Report: Singare is a long, lean post player with high-level rebounding and shot blocking ability. He's a smart post player who passes well out of the post and makes plays for his teammates. He runs the floor well and has surprising fluidity for his size. He has a quick burst off the floor that he uses well at both ends in finishing and blocking shots, along with a good sense of timing. He transferred from Bella Vista Prep (AZ) to Upper Room Christian School (NY) before his junior year.

-Played at Bella Vista last season but transferred to Upper Room in NY. All five offers are new. Got some interest out at BVP but I don't think he played a lot as a sophomore, or maybe wasn't on the top team and therefore didn't get as much attention.

I would have thought French was our best rim protector, since he holds the blocked shots record and the vast majority of those were at the basket. So my question is whats the difference between a good shot blocker and a rim protector?

Your location says, "Melbourne, Florida"; I'm wondering if it's supposed to be "Melbourne, Australia," because the joke went over your head.

He can put it on the floor and get to the rim. He runs the floor extremely well and is a matchup problem defensively, with the ability to block shots and guard multiple positions.
