I thought that was other players on his team.  If that was JB then I was wrong and that would be very encouraging

Just watched again to make sure and it was definitely him. Decent stroke from the FT line too.  Obviously, I don't expect him to be an outside threat, but given how much he'll be banging inside, I'm hopeful his FT% is decent-to-good.

The high school clips of Jimerson show his ability to score in a variety of ways, including attacking the basket.  Of course, D-1 is a whole new animal, but based on these clips and Coach’s comments, I think we can expect Jimerson to be more than just a spot up 3 point specialist.

The highlight video of Bell in the article was good to see.  Showed a little more athleticism then I had seen in other clips (and also sank a few 3’s).

Yeah, I meant when they get to the major college level. We will see whether Jimerson is able to demonstrate a complete game early in his career. It sounds like he certainly has that in him, so I am not doubting he will ever get there, just how soon he will be capable of doing so at this level. Something to watch.

Maybe this is true, but often times guys who come in as more true 3 point shooter types struggle to get to the line early in their career. I have no idea whether this applies to Jimmmerson as well since I have never seen him play, but something to think about.

As Pistol knows, finding Jimerson's stats on line is a challenge.  I did find his 2018 summer Boo Williams stats.  In 18 games, he only shot 7 FT, making 6.  40 of 87 from the arc though is nice.  So yeah, I wouldn't count on Jimerson getting anywhere close to 100 trips to the line.

I didn't want to start a new thread but article in the Athletic today about Ford building a hometown roster starting with getting Goodwin.  Nothing ground breaking in it but that is three stories in two days from three different writers.  Like to see it!

I asked the The Athletic St. Louis editor if they would ever consider having a reporter cover the Bills full-time. He said it had been discussed, but they wanted to make sure there was interest there before making that kind of commitment. For those of you who are subscribers on here, please click on and rate the story if you haven't already. Comment too if you feel inclined. Show them that there is interest in more Bills coverage.

If you aren't a subscriber, you can also sign up for a week for free to read and comment on the story. Right now, they're running a 40% off deal, which just costs around $3.00 a month.

Was there a Ford interview on 101ESPN this morning? Anyone catch it?

I happened to be in the car when he was on, plugged Billiken madness. Coach was asked about Yuri, mentioned again he is a true old school PG. coach was asked about the loss of JB and TI as leaders, said he is more than confident with Goodwin and French leading, and he stated that what we lost in experience we have replaced with talent and athleticism.

this is my best recreation

I just finished reading an article in The Athletic and it had an interesting comment about Roy Williams (UNC) and his preferences regarding roster construction.  It said he wants 3 PGs on his teams.  It made me think that we might very well be where one of the all-time leading winners wants to be, with  JG, YC and either TW or DJ
