mrjoelabs
Players if you are reading this, thanks for the guts. It was a ride this year and you all dealt with a lot. To pull an NCAA upset everything has to go right. I mean Liberty had a guy go for 31 who averages 13, and a back up center who barely plays go for 13. The first half was brutal, but the comeback attempt was valiant. Those of you coming back, next year we should be a lot stronger. Thanks to the seniors. And to coach Ford, thanks for all your work. VATECH honestly didn't look that impressive in the second half. First half we just go blitzed. But coach, thanks for keeping the group together, and making this team what looked to be a real family. Go Bills. Joey (Former Troll) PS Coach Ford PLEASE try to make adjustments before halftime next year...we can't always dig out of a hole! But great job. rgbilliken and Zink like this

johnbj14
SLU will be back. I trust Travis to take our program to places it has never been before. The Billikens are just getting started.

Clock_Tower
Rough ending to a roller coaster ride this year. But I, for one, did enjoy the ride. How far we come these past three (3) years!! Last night is the reason you play D1 college basketball. Yes, we lost. Yes, our turnovers and poor shooting raised its head again. But the atmosphere and notoriety of being in the NCAA Tourney -- no replacement. I am thankful that Bess, Foreman, Isabel and Wiley each got this opportunity. Same with Welmer to experience but more in a non-playing role. Also, am thankful that Goodwin, French and Thatch (same with Hankton who got a few real minutes and Jacobs who did not) got a taste of the NCAA Tournament to help them each have Conklin Summers to lead our newbies next year. By comparison, Vandy and Pitt also changed coaches 3 years ago. The fans at Pitt are now on their second head coach since we landed Coach Ford and they got the chance to celebrate only 3 conference wins this year. Then, again, Vandy has had their worst 2 years of college basketball and won no conference regular or tourney games going 0-19. Kevin Stallings and Bryce Drew. What does Garth Brooks say, thank you for unanswered prayers? Thank you again. Congratulation and looking forward to next year!

billiken_roy
While i admit i have issues with coach Ford's on court methods, there is no denying his ability to get players and there is no doubt of his motivational abilities. At this point in time Team Blue / Travis Ford IS Saint Louis Basketball. Adman and moytoy12 like this

almaman
Saying coach could of done things different in the games doesn't mean results would be any different. Easy to say when we lose things could of been done differently.

So proud of all of them. When everyone, including many on this board, doubted these guys they never quit and never stopped fighting. I'll always be proud to represent team blue even down 20 in the NCAA tournament. I'm going to miss these seniors. Now let's work on getting back. Box and Won
I noticed several people in the crowd at Friday's game wearing scarves. Is that our new thing? BAB, that's a quality patio setup you have there. And quality doggo.
