Great win yesterday ...see Day spread thread for post game analysis Meanwhile....it is on to Dav....another team we owe payback to...a game we should have won in Jan....while everyone focused on the final FTs in that 1 pt loss, it was really a matter of poor shooting overall that cost us that game.... a normal Bills slash is 42/31/60...Last Dav game....35/27/65...we were missing three 2's (easy ones) and one 3...in another words we left 9 pts on the table...should have won by 8...What I am doing in this thread is not dwelling in the past but seeing what went wrong so hopefully we can fix it. Dav is a B+ team overall....trending at B+...The Bills are a B- team ...trending at B+...Dav is a better team as far as the season goes but right now the teams are just about equal. The spread variable on this game is 1-4 pts in favor of Dav...very close game. Dav is similar to Day in that they have a good defense..similar to us...And like Day a better offense than us. The difference between Day and Dav is 3s....They shoot better 3s than Day and defend the 3s worse. WCGW....We give them open shots... we make mistakes (TOs)...we don't stay on Gud Bottomline..... Overall they are the better team...HOWEVER...right now we are playing equal to them ...some would say we are playing over our head , others would say we are playing to our potential....either way, right now things are pretty much even....It all comes down to 3 questions..... 1...Can we continue to play to our potential? 2...Do we have the stamina to play to our potential? 3...Do we want this game more than Dav? And That was the ball game...The immovable object (Bills defense) stopped the unstoppable force. (Dav offense)...While we lost the TO battle but only had 9 for the game...2nd half only 2 ...that was huge...3 game total 8.67/ gm ...A+....Win the the Reb battle by double digits...another strong yes...beat them 45-29....Stop Gud and Grady...hold them to 13 pts /player....13x2 =26pts...actual ...Gud 15 pts Grady 7= 22pts......net gain 4 pts...another yes.
