Need to hav beetrr handles and stronger on the ball too. Most important thing is having someone that can run the offense. I don't think Ford is ever going to stop being deliberate on offense. If that is the case guys like Goodwin and Isabell aren't going to work at the point in a deliberate offense. You can bring in outside shooters and free throw shooters. If you don't have a guy that can run the kind of offense the coach wants to run you aren't going to get the results you desire.

This team is well coached and overall has good execution, especially on D. The bulk of the problem is shooting and sometimes turnovers. But the shooting, , , ,WOW. We rank 271st in turnovers per possession. Execution is poor and turnovers are always a problem.

As of today 235 out of 351 teams at 13.9 per game. To be in the top 100 they would need to be at 12.5 per game, about 1.4 fewer turnovers per game. The stat was hurt mostly by the early season games when Goodwin was not the primary ball hander. It has improved since Goodwin is back running the offense. Execution is good. Ford made the adjustment by going back to Goodwin. Shooting sucks from the 3, from in close and oh my .... from the FT line. But good execution is resulting in good shots. You need to look at turnovers per procession. We turn the ball over on nearly 1 out of every 5 possessions (19.9%) we have. And actually it isn't getting better. It is getting worse as we have turned the ball over on 22.8% of our possessions over the last 3 games. The team ranked 176 averages turnovers on 18.5% of possessions. Over the last 3 games we have averaged 68.7 possessions a game. That means over the last 3 games we had 3 more turnovers per game than what a middle of the road team at protecting the ball would have. Do an average job of protecting the ball and we win the last two games. We could keep on shooting like crap from the field and the line and still be undefeated in conference if we just protected the ball better. Good points, but with just average shooting the Bill's likely have only 1, maybe 2 losses.
