I heard what Frank said and I'm not quite sure how it's been deduced that he was talking about Juiston from UNLV. I certainly hope that's true, but I didn't get the sense that's who Frank was talking about.

Doing the best with the morsels I have. Hopefully there are enough caveats in there.

Who do you think he was talking about?

I don't know, but he said "there is a big from Nevada, with Coach Mussleman leaving for the SEC, who is available, that they are in on"

Certainly a decent chance Frank bungled a few of the details, but I just don't get UNLV out of what he actually said.

He also want on to talk a bit about the kid from Trinity.

Love the work fellas! For Billikens fans this podcast is fantastic! You keep feeding we’ll keep eating!

Get some boys from the Majerus days on! Jett, McCall, Loe!

Willie Reed if possible to get on would be an interesting interview.

Already have a new one in the works. Stay posted.

The Drejaj interview was great. Highlights for me:

-His recruitment process. Forgot he was a late qualifier, and I hadn't heard the story of his OV before. Soderberg's recruiting style was crazy to me.

-Playing in Kosovo with his brother, and then playing Slamball - although I don't go quite as deep on the latter as @billikenfan05.

-The Otis Livingston story, and his perspective as a coach - his quote about trusting your own eyes and not getting caught up with a recruit's offers or status or ranking. That's real wisdom.

-Tons of other small anecdotes in there, and I love his Jersey attitude and accent. This was fun for me; we overlapped for 3 of his 4 years at SLU.

Episode 23:

- Billiken golf classic

Mild language warning, that is why we used the explicit tag for this episode. Thank you once again to @Pistol for joining the show, had a really great sit down, about 20-25 minutes covering a wide range of recruiting topics (2019-2021 recruiting classes, including the current transfer market) for Billiken's basketball. Don't forget to subscribe on your favorite services and drop us a rating!

Would have loved to see that pick up game as Drejaj is playing for a scholarship.

Disclaimer: I haven't listened to this particular episode yet and I gave the Podcast 5 stars when I rated it.  It is really great and I appreciate everything you put into it.  My one critique would be to try to tone down the language where possible.  It's one thing for me to who doesn't care and is listening to it on headphones while mowing my lawn, but I'd imagine that it turns some people off or doesn't allow someone to listen to it in a setting where they can't have casual swearing playing over speakers (ex: at work, with their kids around, etc.).  It is just something that is going to limit your audience without really adding anything or attracting more people IMO.

I can understand that when you're interviewing someone that the language will sometimes go explicit and you can't help it.  In those circumstances, it is unavoidable and you can throw an explicit tag or try to bleep out language.  However, it seemed to me that most of the language was just Zach casually swearing.  Understandable that is his normal way of talking and might take some practice to change.  However, it seems like something that could be avoided with a little practice.

Appreciate the feedback. We've tried to be conscious of that, but where it comes out, we at the very least hope we making you aware it is present. Thank you for continuing to follow, we truly appreciate all of the responses we get. You guys help make the show grow by letting us know what you would rather see, or how we can possibly make the show better.

I completely understand and appreciate the feedback. We are consciously trying to remove swearing from our normal episodes, I get fired up sometimes but I’ll try to keep it at worst to the mild swears and maybe having hosts refrain from swearing on interview episodes but I think letting our guests use colorful language when telling stories is an important part of getting their honest account of things and that’s kind of a hardline stance for me personally.

Part One of our two part interview with Kyle Cassity is coming Monday.

Great, looking forward to another one! I know the interview already happened, but having Kyle read hateful posts about him from Billikens.com would have been epic.

Or reading posts saying he had a chance at the NBA.

I already said this but I’m looking forward to this episode because I don’t remember most of what we talked about. I was out watching the Blues at a bar and then came back and we drank during this episode. It was a whole lot of fun though. I think Kyle would be an amazing third man on the podcast if he wants it
