We have been putting together something special for our listeners that will come out at a yet to be decided date. However, one interview is ready to go, and we are ready to release it. Only stipulation, we need to hit 50 review on iTunes. This is a big number, but iTunes is where a large portion of our audience comes from and we are working to grow our show so our ratings help. Would it be possible to find an MBM from upcoming opponents message boards to come on and give a preview of their team? It may require some work but I if you can find an opposing fan message board you could make a post asking who would be willing to come on and who would be a good representative of their fans. This would provide good info of our next opponent and get you listeners from the other teams fans base. Interestingly enough one of my favorite pass times was checking opposing message boards before and after games. I kind of stopped doing that at some point(probably during crews era). Now when I search a lot of message boards it’s seems that many are dead or on life support. Twitter conversation and reddit have seemed to take over for these. It’ll probably be easier during conference season because so many teams have podcasts and blogs and A10 twitter is a decent community. It’s definitely worth looking into. Pistol Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Harris was probably my favorite interview yet. He seems like an amazingly good guy. He was highly engaged the entire time and told great stories. I was also shocked at how good his memory is in terms of breaking down specific plays from specific games ~25 years ago. Spoon, H Waldman and basically all of his teammates from the era, Bob Huggins, Samaki Walker, Brett Hull, The Arena, Kiel Center, and even a Wayne Gretzky cameo. He's candid and compelling on basically every subject. Also caught up with the Dwayne Evans and Bryant Cotton interviews in the past week-plus. Both excellent, too, and I learned quite a bit about college baseball from Cotton. Evans comes across as such a cool, smart dude. We've had more guys from his era so his wasn't necessarily as groundbreaking as Harris' in terms of bringing some new stories, but it certainly built upon what we've known of the Majerus-Crews era and his great class.
