I had heard when Hughes was here he knew he was going pro and literally didn't go to class the second semester, but he was still eligible. Got paired with him for a class project. The presentation time for the project was the exact time when Larry was announcing that he was declaring for the draft. I didn't have any classes with Larry, but I only saw him at the Kiel Center during the 2nd semester. Didn't see him on campus one time, which is odd because practices were at West Pine Gym. Until Gordon significantly improves his cardiovascular conditioning, he won't be playing pro anywhere. He will need more time in college. I just wonder whether he is interested in sitting out as a transfer, his interest in even being a student, and not knowing the exact situation what options will be available to him at the college level.
