Cowboy Posted December 3, 2018 Share Posted December 3, 2018 -I know we have discussed this and I did read some of the Attendance threads but did not find the answer, did we determine with certainty what the published attendance number is for SLU home games? tickets sold or turnstile count? -if Brian Kunderman or someone from the ADept could weigh in on this one it would be much appreciated! Compton Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 I was watching NJIT play Fordham at Rose Hill last night. There were under 200 fans in attendance and that's not an exaggeration. Including the pep band may have put it over 200. Sure it's finals and who ever cared about NJIT (although they inexplicably have a single vote in the AP top 25), but dear lord this was pathetic. And Fordham is even off to a decent start by their standards and there were no weather issues in NYC last night. Sure they're in a big market, but absolutely no one cares including students, faculty and alumni. I know there's frustration here sometimes that we aren't to Dayton or Butler (let alone Duke or Kentucky) following/fanatic status yet - but watching that mockery within the A10 makes SLU's fan support actually look pretty good.
