Based on nothing other than a hunch (and the work he has put in), I've long suspected that Santos is going to have a really strong year.

I think Santos will be a beast. Heard so many good things about him over last year. He might be key to whole season, esp pairing with Gordon. So excited. Friday can’t come soon enough!

I know the Santos news sucks, but just remember, last year we mainly used French and Foreman inside, with a little (very little) help from Anthony.

This year we have French, Foreman, CAG and possibly Welmer.

I'm incredibly excited to see if DJ Foreman has progressed over the summer. I've probably said this way too much but I thought he was by far the biggest pleasant surprise last year and he has become one of my favorite Billikens.

Agreed and arguably our best or second best player in conference play.

Copying this over from the Recruiting thread, so people know what recruits they might spot tonight. Names in bold are confirmed, names underlined are my guesses as guys who would be the most likely other attendees.

Known visits this weekend for our 2019 offers:

John Bol Ajak - Syracuse

Tyson Etienne - Wichita State

DaJuan Gordon - K-State

Gibson Jimerson - SLU

Chris Ledlum - Harvard

Michael Moreno - Richmond

Tyson Walker - Vermont

Which leaves Myles Baker, Nobal Days, Jordan Dingle, Tony Johnson, Treyon Johnson, Julius Marble, Anderson Mirambeaux, Chris Payton, Kasean Pryor, Lester Quinones, Antonio Reeves, and Terrence Shannon as guys who I haven't been able to confirm any weekend visit plans for. We've got some Chicago kids coming down so maybe Baker, Treyon Johnson, Reeves, Shannon, and Pryor are also possibilities, not to mention Markese Jacobs and Alonzo Verge, both on the interest list and from Chicago. Shannon mentioned us as a possible visit a couple months ago but a lot has changed since then and I don't know if we're in his sights anymore.

Known visits this weekend for our 2020 offers:

John Hugley - Penn State

Matthew Murrell - Memphis

Seryee Lewis, Reggie Strong, Keshawn Williams - SLU (and they'll visit Illinois State on their way back Saturday)

Which leaves everyone else in 2020. Local kids include Davion Bradford, Dylan Branson, Kobe Clark, Lamontay Daughtery, Cam'Ron Fletcher, Luke Kasubke, and Caleb Love. Since we already have three Chicago 2020 guys coming, we might keep an eye out for Martice Mitchell and Quincy Ademokoya (who isn't in Chicago anymore but is close with a couple of them). Not sure who else might be a candidate.

Hey Pistol, you don’t do enough work. Could we please get pictures of the recruits 😜
