pakapablo
Totally off topic but I am always interested in anyone with Jet in their name. Either one t or two works since they sound the same. Pretty cool story. I am a fan of this Jett now (except when he plays against the Blues). Larry Woo faced racism in the hockey rink. For his NHL-drafted son, it's a different story. billikenbill
Does it count if the person has the initials JET? Knew a kid named Jeff Taylor, middle name Edward. His family nicknamed him Jet. Probably doesn’t count but it seemed cool at the time.
RUBillsFan
Professional athletes (throughout history) with Jet in their name: MLB: Jett Bandy is really the only one. If you count JETer then you can add 3 more (Derek of course, but also Johnny & Shawn). There is also Sam JEThroe. Finally a couple of guys with nicknames involving JET - Chet "The Jet" Lemon and Scotty "Jetpacks" Kingery. NFL: Cliff Jetmore, James Jett, John Jett, Paul Jetton. Several Jeters and a few Jethroes. NBA: Jet Chang. Eugene and Hal Jeter. Jason "The Jet" Terry, Kenny "The Jet" Smith, and Chet "The Jet" Walker. NHL: Jett Woo (from your article) is the only one. Several others in college basketball or college football. You can search those on the sports reference sites.
