gets better.....

Jeez. This team is getting thin really quick here. Santos gone, Welmer out lets just assume for his career at this point, and Jacobs a solid maybe. That is 10 (assumed) healthy scholarship guys right now. Not a huge margin for error with bigs either. Time to suit up Phil Forte under an assumed alias as a walk on...

Stop. Bit players won’t be available. We still have 5 great guards and 3 great big men.

Santos was going to contribute. Then Welmer was going to contribute.

Wiley has a history of injuries and Jacobs was going to provide another athletic guard off the bench.

Also hankton is hobbled so that is cool.

Santos is gone, no point in even saying his name. Time to move on.

Welmer hasn’t even been evaluated yet.

Goodwin, Bess, Wiley, Isabell, Thatch. Find me minutes for Jacobs. Also find me minutes for Hankton.

The problem with Elliott Welmer's foot is not totally unexpected. He had a foot fracture initially which re-fractured later on. He did fine with a lot of rest and recovered to be able to walk and even run in a perfectly normal manner. However, his  foot just could not take the stress of play (in this case the strain of practice) and he is out indefinitely now. With the  prior loss of Santos, this leaves 11 scholarship players. Let's hope Demarius Jacobs' issue will be solved quickly and that no one else will be sidelined for any reason. We can still do it.

Hello all,

this bills team will be the best team we’ve had since AT LEAST 2014. What were you doing in 2014? That was a long time ago.

Old Guy turned 96, and 05 had his first wine cooler.

Literally nothing that is said here is permanent. Temporary bad news, sure. It does not say “welmer out for year,” or “Jacobs didn’t qualify”

Wait, our two GT guards are practicing and are 100%? Our POY candidate’s broken nose isn’t a major issue and is practicing already? We have the best backcourt in the league, and the best fromtcourt in the league (With or without Jacobs and Welmer) ? We have two local recruits and a sharpshooter coming in next season? Oh.

Who knew. But I thought it was hard being a Billiken fan?

Roll Bills. See you all in Minneapolis.
