Biondi definitely rubbed people the wrong way and ran things in a manner that didn't always foster the greatest amount of collaboration (probably an understatement). But I feel like he's now the scapegoat for all of the administrators at SLU who don't want to accept any sort of responsibility for negative events that have transpired in recent years. All of the problems that snowballed under Biondi's watch (and manifested during Pestello's) had been building up during the tenure of almost all of these administrators and board members.
