The teams most hurt by the graduate transfer rule are the ones that accept a post sophomore, pre junior year transfer. He sits out a year, then plays one season and if he's been going to class, has the option to bail for the senior year. Basically you use 2 years of a scholarship for 1 year of play.

Hopefully that doesn't happen to us with Bess or Foreman this off-season.

on a insta post a few weeks ago Bess already commented on a post stating how we was going to be playing here next season.

From Reynolds point of view having a scholarship paying tuition or not is not a major issue, his family has major money at their disposal. From his point of view the important thing may be playing basketball. I agree if he had stayed at SLU he would have been called upon to do a lot of playing for the last two seasons. Too bad, I did like the kid.

6-4 shooting guard Nat Dixon for Chattanooga is a grad transfer. He was their leading scorer at 13 ppg, shot a lot of 3s and made them at 39%. Would seem to the type of player we are looking for. I imagine he'll be attracting a lot of interest.

Another intriguing grad transfer on the market. 5-10 guard Justin Coleman from Samford - Justin Coleman. Very productive player. Averaged 13 ppg, shot a lot of 3's at 37 % and a very impressive 6 assists per game.  Some of the "power" schools could shy away from him due to his lack of size, but could be a great fit in the A-10.

He had a hell of a high school career and played two years at Alabama.

Seems like there is a simple fix to this.  Just make the grad transfer rule apply only if you haven't already transferred previously.

Hope that doesn't happen.  Lots of kids are run off by new coaches.  They are pushed out because they are not a fit, or the coach needs the scholarship for another player.  Players are used and screwed over enough by coaches and schools already.

Like seeing the players having an advantage for a change, especially those sharp enough to to graduate with eligibility left.

Perfect Trae Young replacement.

I was really shocked to see this.  It appears that he is not OU's highest priority on the grad transfer front as Krueger was personally out to see Calixte yesterday.  We can probably take Calixte off of our wish list.

Not bad for a guy who was recently described on this board as something like - the worst Billiken to get the most minutes?

ill be shocked if he lands at oklahoma.   kruger is better than that.

they did just get a guard yesterday, not sure if pg or not.

Kameron McGusty (sophomore SG) and Jordan Shepherd (sophomore PG) are both transferring out. Kris Martin is transferring in from Colorado State, where he sat out this year because he had transferred there from Oral Roberts. He may or may not have to sit another season, depending on if he can graduate in time. Regardless, OU still has some room for a guard. I'd just be shocked if that ends up being Reynolds.
