Quality Is Job 1
Crazy that Mizzou might lose this game. Yet many Mizzou fans question whether Travis Ford can coach?!

almaman
sorry I was looking at football. that is so poor. Once we get relegated to a 1 bid league be a deep whole to clime out of.
BillIkenFan_Dan
Mizzou barley scrapes by emporia st by 5 post dispatch will probably be raving about how they persevered and Martin coach great what a joke in Columbia Glorydays2013 likes this
Old guy
Emporia State is a Div II school. The fact that Mizzou who is currently ranked to 50 could only beat them by 5 miserable points tells volumes about Martin's lack of ability to coach. I agree with you to a considerable extent — the jury is still out on his coaching ability — but I will also say that it's not coaches who make shots or miss shots. For the most part, Mizzou's problem today was so many missed shots and free throws.
The Wiz
If it's any consolation, Emporia St. also lost to University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) by 5 pts.
Old guy
What kind of a consolation is that? The University of Sioux Falls is also a Div II school. You mean to say that Mizzou is at par with the University of Sioux Falls?

Pistol
This sucks. I'm no Mizzou fan but we shouldn't be dancing on their grave. I don't know how many of you have seen Porter play but the kid is a special talent. Back injuries are no joke. There's talk that he'll struggle to get back to 100% with this specific injury, which is bad news for his draft status and NBA fans. If this is true (uncertainty regarding 100% recovery), I really hope he had a sweet insurance policy. Billiken Rich
It is tough luck for Porter Jr and I sincerely wish him no ill BUT Missouri fans deserve brickbats and slings and arrows and have well earned their freakish misery
