The Recruiting Lists thread is now led by the class of 2021. I'll do an update on 2021 news in the next few days.

*Blue Font* Wait a second @Pistol, next few days????? Are you trying to imply that you have better things to than providing us MBM’s with our much needed recruiting updates?*Blue Font*

Thanks, as always, for your hard work, time and effort!

If this was already posted, my apologies, but I don’t think I had seen it here. Nesbitt rankings/predictions from a national recruiting writer.

This is very good news!

Does anyone else get the sense that, while there are a lot of factors changing local players' perceptions of SLU - Coach Ford creating a winning environment, Coach Tate's deep local connections, J.Good's ambition and leadership, facility upgrades that have us stack up against some P6 programs on campus visits, etc... - that players see how Yuri drops dimes and finds ways highlighting his teammates' strengths (e.g. how he looks for ways to get TJ into his natural environment - above the rim) and think, "I want in." ?

Do you guys think this actually is an advantage for is in terms of Nesbitt and Kern, because they’re already so familiar with our campus and facilities and coaching staff and players/teammates. Do you think extending the dead period puts us ahead of the curve with those guys because of that familiarity?

Yes. The current situation in general is very helpful for local recruits.

Frank just said on his radio show that Jordan Nesbitt is getting closer and closer to committing to SLU.

Is that fan boy Frank who occasionally lets his excitement get the best of him or connected journalist Frank who has broken more than a few stories?

Well in this case at least Mizzou isn't recruiting him at all so we can rule out "Frank who is tricked to thinking a local player that was questionably recruited is going to SLU but ends up at Mizzou to try divert attention away from Martin talking to the recruit when they were committed".

Exactly! His Mizzou "connections" have done that to him a few times, but when it involves just a SLU recruit - Goodwin, Gordon, Collins, Thatch... Frank has had a very good track record in the Ford era.

I kinda laughed that he might’ve gotten a little too excited when calling Russell coming to SLU, but when it all shook out, he ended up being right. Here’s hoping he’s right again!

As Bills06 points out, Frank has been conned by his Mizzou sources who have tried to create diversions from their suspected tampering, but his SLU connections (likely Tate) have been very accurate.

I listened to the segment again to see if he said that he heard it from a source. He didn't mention that, but he sounded pretty confident that Nesbitt is getting closer to committing. I assume he's hearing that from a source. He also mentioned that Kern could be coming too, but didn't give any indication if that will be in the near future or not. With the dead period being extended though, I could see players starting to commit to the schools they've already visited before all of this started.
