alameda bob
The guys playing hoops today were linebackers and tight ends when I played. Now look at how big football players are. Where will it end?? Is it time to raise the basket??
tseugnekillib
No doubt athletes (both girls and guys) are getting bigger every year. At the same time, Spoon was comfortable with small guards while Soderberg appears to favor the stronger, muscular Big10 type bodies.
willie
I don't think there is any question that Brad wants to build his teams in the Wisconsin- Minn. type mold. Lots of big tall players who will be around for 4 or 5 years. Lets face it Brad's a big ten type guy and thats how he will coach. The key is getting the right players to play your style. Quickdraw
Sometimes data is wrong; or, if not wrong, it's downright unbelievable. Does anyone else have a hard time believing that Jeff Harris weighed only 5 lbs. less than Jamal Johnson? or that Reggie is 15 lbs. heavier than Corey Frazier was? But I will concede that we do have a bigger lineup than we used to. In the past we frequently had some "little" guards. Next year DP will be the only one. In the past we rarely had any trees. This year we will have several.
