Sekou's numbers are slightly down from last year and Yaya's are about the same.  De Smet has some of the worst passing guards I've seen all year.  A good point guard would get them 6 points each on drive and dishes alone.

They're very athletic projects to be sure.  A 6-9, 6'10 athletic project can do well in the A-10.

I noticed that last year.  They were running the offense thru their 5'10 senior guard the game I attended

Modestas Kancleris, a stretch-4 from Lithuania who SLU had reportedly been interested in at one point, committed to Grand Canyon over the weekend.

Melvin Edwards, who had a SLU offer at one point, signed with UNC-Wilmington, and got out of his LOI in January, committed to Charleston Southern.

The great Mizzou killer Charleston Southern.

So, seen him listed as a "professional".  So, will he be cleared to play by day 1 of next season?

His team plays in Sweden's third division. It's not like the top division. The team is associated with his high school; the closest analogy here would be a prep school team that travels nationally (like where Markhi Strickland is). They're unpaid amateurs in school. No worries about NCAA eligibility from that standpoint - only concern is if he has a weird credit issue like Ellis did, which I doubt will be the case, as Gudmundsson had no issues getting cleared.

hope NCAA doesn't cut out 1/2 a season like they did with Ellis.

He's a flat-out baller who would start as a freshman most years. Next year will not be most years however. He may not be able to work into the rotation but he's got superstar written all over him beginning in '21-22.

He will have to be patient, next seasons team is very talented and will return all but 1 scholarship player unless a player transfers.

The position Strickland plays is crowded next season with Jimerson, Hargrove, and Perkins.

We made Donte Houston Jr's top 5 (Middle Tenn, UCF, SLU, New Mexico, MO State).  Pretty cool to be making guys top 5s when we don't actually have an open scholarship to give.  Kind of a weird top 5.  They're fairly spread out geographically.  SLU doesn't really fit culturally with the others.
