Hearing McKinney might be going the Juco route...John A Logan.

Thank you for the update coach I hope Mario finds a path that moves his education and his game in a good direction and becomes a highly coveted Juco recruit.

Do we have a shot at this guy?

He plays a guard wing position and is 6’ 6” 190.  I think with Perkins, Jimerson, Hargrove and Strickland it might be a case of too many of the same type of players.  I like St. Louis kids so I wonder if the board thinks using the last scholarship on Kobe Clark is a good choice?

SLU needs a big, so no in my humble opinion.  Now if a second scholly opens up, perhaps but SLU does have an abundance of 2's and 3's.  Another pg?

I don’t get the McKinney interest by this board. The kid couldn’t play at a very mediocre Missouri. It wasn’t like he was playing behind a bunch of All Americans. We don’t need whatever role he might play.

Agree. I don’t want him. We need another shooter and a big

Where would we be without Tay Weaver?   Yes, he is not a PG despite his size. Yes,  he is not a replacement to Fred Thatch (but who is?) as a defensive specialist as taller guards shoot over him and slip past him.  But with a collection of talented and skilled basketball players who either lack shooting skills or confidence in their shooting skills - or both - Weaver has been great - and needed.  Imagine Davidson without him. And even with the return of a healthy Jimerson, we still need more shooting.

There was interest from Clark.  The feeling wasn't mutual.  Georgetown is on him now pretty heavy.

This is interesting, but I get it. I don't see how he fits on the roster. One of those situations where I hope he goes to G-town and absolutely kills it.
