Offers: SLU, Louisville, Miami, Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Baylor, USC, UCF, Georgia State.

Latest News: Carey has been dominant early in his sophomore season. He visited Louisville right before the season started, and Miami has been out to see him play a lot. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: Carey is a huge, constantly improving player who runs the floor well for his age and size. He’s a smart player, deceptively quick, and can put the ball on the floor when necessary. He’s a consensus top-15 player in the 2019 class.

Kofi Cockburn - C, 6-11, 248 - Bronx, NY (Christ the King) - Twitter: @kxng_alpha

Offers: SLU, VCU, Providence, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Rutgers, UConn, UNLV.

Aundre Hyatt - SF, 6-6, 210 - Bronx, NY (The Miller School of Albemarle, VA) - Twitter: @aundrehyatt_15

Latest News: Syracuse, Indiana, and St. John's were out to watch Hyatt in mid-December. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: Hyatt is a very athletic forward who can shoot the 3, handle the ball, and block shots. He’s a strong on-ball defender, as well. Hyatt is an elite prospect in the 2019 class, top-30 in most listings.

Maxwell Lorca-Lloyd - PF-C, 6-10, 200 - Brooklyn, NY (Northfield Mount Hermon)

Offers: SLU, Seton Hall, Penn State, St. Peter’s.

Interest: St. John’s, Virginia, Stanford, UConn.

Latest News: Lorca-Lloyd went out to see St. John's and UConn right before the HS season started. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: Lorca-Lloyd is raw but skilled, with great touch for his size and good shot blocking ability. He’s got a high ceiling and is an excellent student.

Mario McKinney- G, 6-2, 180 - St. Louis, MO (Vashon) - Twitter: @Boog341

Offers: SLU, DePaul, K-State, Mizzou, Auburn, Tulsa, Southern Miss.

Interest: Xavier, Illinois, Arkansas, UNLV, Tulsa, Wichita State, Drake, Bradley, SIUE.

Latest News: McKinney’s first wave of offers came in after a big showing in Vashon’s win over nationally ranked Wheeler in Atlanta. Mizzou is the latest offer, and Xavier, Arkansas, Wichita State, and UNLV have shown interest recently. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: McKinney is a talented guard who can score at the rim and distribute. He loves to play in transition and brings a ton of energy to the floor. He’s developed a strong defensive game early in his career, and is absolutely relentless on that end.

Isaiah Stewart - PF, 6-8, 235 - Rochester, NY (McQuaid Jesuit) - Twitter: @Dreamville_33

Offers: SLU, George Washington, St. Bonaventure, Providence, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Florida, Tennessee, Buffalo, Niagara.

Interest: Georgetown, UNC, Duke, Virginia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Arizona, Stanford, Tulane.

Latest News: Stewart’s latest offer is from Providence. He suffered a freak broken tailbone injury while trying out for the national team and will miss most of, if not all, of his sophomore season. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: Stewart put up gaudy numbers as a freshman, averaging about 19 and 11, scoring triple doubles, with multiple 40-20 games. He’s an athletic, long, electric player.

Bryce Wills - PG, 6-5, 180 - White Plains, NY (Iona Prep) - Twitter: @Bryce_Wills5

Offers: SLU, VCU, UMass, Fordham, Villanova, Providence, St. John’s, Wake Forest, Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State, UConn, Temple, Gonzaga, Iona, Hofstra.

Interest: Duke, Virginia, Indiana, Cal, Stanford, Kentucky, Brown, Colgate, Boston.

Latest News: Cal, Stanford, and Indiana came out to see Wills last week. (12/20/16)

Scouting Report: Wills is a big lead guard who sees the floor well and has a steady jumper with range. He’s athletic and a strong ball handler and good passer, but needs to work on strength and decision making, as well as off-ball positioning. Regardless, he's an elite 2019 prospect, one of the top 25 players in the class.

The 2018 thread was started well over a year ago. The 2019 kids are going to be sophomores. The recruiting charts are sliding over. I figured it was time.

The only guys who I have heard of in the 2019 class are EJ Liddell from Belleville West and Eagles 16U studs Marcedus Leech from Poplar Bluff and James Wiseman from Nashville.

The 2019 class is officially underway! First offer:

Kofi Cockburn: C, 6-10, 240, Bronx, NY (Christ the King)Offers: SLU, VCU. Interest: None. Latest News: SLU and VCU became Cockburn’s first offers in May. Scouting Report: Cockburn has a great build and good touch in the paint. He moved to NYC from Jamaica for the higher level of coaching and competition.

There just isn't a ton of information on him so far. He didn't play varsity as a freshman; he emigrated to the US at the semester break, and Christ the King's varsity team was loaded. He will be on the top roster as a sophomore. SLU and VCU are the first to offer and despite no other schools publicly linked to him at this point, he's undoubtedly got a ton of people keeping track. He's gigantic and young, so he's obviously raw, but has shown skill. Very high ceiling here.

Updates on the 2019 offers:

Malik Hall might have reclassified; Bryce Wills definitely did, so he'll be a 2019 name from now on.

Vernon Carey is a 6-10, 240-lb. PF from Florida currently ranked #19 in the class of 2019 by ESPN. He has offers from Miami, Florida, and a couple others. He's played extremely well for Nike Team Florida this spring and has a very high ceiling.

Maxwell Lorca-Lloyd (6-8, 200) is a raw but skilled forward with a ton of upside. He attends the Northfield Mount Hermon School, where he plays top-level HS competition. He'll play for the Chilean national U18 team.

Isaiah Stewart (PF, Rochester, McQuaid Jesuit) is a long, super athletic forward who put up gaudy numbers as a freshman. He only has a few offers at this point (SLU, Tennessee, Wake Forest) but nearby Syracuse is involved, as is every other blueeblood. He's already become a "must-see" local sensation in Rochester and will probably play to sold-out gyms over his last three seasons.

2019 offer list updates:

Vernon Carey, Jr. is now ranked #5 by ESPN, #8 by Rivals, #12 by Scout, #6 by 247 - it's good that we were one of the early offers, but they continue to mount and his interest list is basically "All". It's going to be tough to stay involved here.

Kofi Cockburn is said to have grown another inch, putting his current listing at 6-11, 248. Again, good that we were one of his first two offers but that list will explode. UNLV offered yesterday.

Malik Hall transferred from Metea Valley in Naperville to Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas and officially reclassified as a 2019 recruit. He took an unofficial to Illinois this summer. I hate to see transfers this early, and with a basketball factory like Sunrise, I wouldn't be surprised to see another move before 2019.

Aundre Hyatt is another player who started as a 2018 recruit and reclassified despite strong academic performance. He transferred to the Miller School in Virginia. He's up to a dozen offers and ranked in the 30-ish range on rankings that go higher than 25 for the 2019 class. St. John's, Providence, Brown, Virginia, VT, Syracuse, Miami, USC, and VCU have been out to see him this month.

Maxwell Lorca-Lloyd played for Chile's U-18 team this summer. He's got offers from SLU, Seton Hall, Penn State, and St. Peter's, and mounting interest. He's raw at 6-10, but he's a top 50 name on Rivals.

Isaiah Stewart received offers from Niagara and Buffalo in September, but it's probably too little, too late for those regional programs because he also has offers from SLU, Florida, Tennessee, Syracuse, GW, and Wake Forest. He's 6-8 now, and an absolutely explosive athlete. He was dominant as a freshman, putting up huge numbers at the varsity level.

UMass, Maryland, Cal, Brown, Colgate, Iona, were out to check on Bryce Wills this month. He has 14 offers and a lot of high-level interest, as he's another top-30ish name on our offer list.

Still no offer from SLU, but it's worth noting that EJ Liddell has been working out with Corey Frazier.

Mario McKinney has had a number of visitors in September: SLU, Xavier, DePaul, Illinois, K-State, Arkansas, Wichita State, and Drake. Mizzou and Bradley have also shown interest. He has been out to DePaul on an unofficial visit while attending Elite Camp there.

Like @3star_recruit said in the 2018 thread, McKinney is thought to be the best local guard prospect in the 2019 class and hasn't developed a jumper yet. He's still a big-time scorer who takes it to the rim and loves transition. He distributes the ball well, plays with a ton of energy, and is years ahead of his peers defensively. He's listed at 6-1 or 6-2 and anywhere from 165 to 180.

So McKinney sounds somewhat like Jordair Jett.

Jett was a power guard who developed a mid-range game. McKinney is a 6'1 165lb frenetic whirlwind who does almost all of his damage going to the basket. He's so good at it he may not even need a jumper at the high school level.  There are a number of former college players mentoring him, though. McKinney understands the importance of continuing to develop his perimeter game if he wants to succeed at the next level.
