hsmith19
Too bad he's literally the worst player in the A10 at every other facet of his game Second worst, maybe. I will take Gillmann over Jolly any day.
Littlebill
Second worst, maybe. I will take Gillmann over Jolly any day. If the guy they have to guard is bigger, then Jolly. Gillsy got bullied regularly like the new kid in school
wgstl
Jolly, although not by much, is better on defense

hsmith19
Neither one really plays defense. But at least Gillmann doesn't commit a foul every four seconds he's on the court (and then throw a fit afterwards).
wgstl
true, but Jolly toward the end of the season started to collect a few blocked shots
NextYearBill
true, but Jolly toward the end of the season started to collect a few blocked shots so you were actually watching games still towards the end of the season?
cheeseman
We got a lot of shot takers and not a lot of shot makers LOL

Soderball
true, but Jolly toward the end of the season started to collect a few blocked shots Did you see those fouls he committed against GM? He plays the dumbest basketball i have ever seen.. And this is after two years of Yarbrough who played the second dumbest basketball ive ever seen. Soderball
That's a 50-50 there, Soderball, or a dumb and dumber call. Its a tough one. Was certainly tough to watch. Jolly's technical vs indiana state however seals the deal for me. Yarbrough's coast-to-coast escapades were certainly puzzling however. JMM28
I hope Ford plans on having the talk with Jolly. Jolly is below a spring level talent. If you let him stay, you're wasting two scholarship years on the guy.
slufan13
What if Jolly doesn't give a about basketball and just wants to stay at SLU on a free ride? The guy is an idiot and got himself suspended last year so I'm fine with just kicking him off the team, but I don't know if I see him as a guy who will voluntarily leave even if you tell him he's going to ride the bench the rest of his career. WestCoastBilliken
I mean there are a ton of perks to being on a D-1 basketball team. I don't think I would leave either if someone offered me a free ride on the team. I would live that up. Wih that said, no chance jolly leaves without Ford telling him he is leaving. He isn't giving up the gravy train.

slu72
Can one imagine the talk Rick would have had w/ Folly before telling him to hit the road? Boggles the imagination.

Can you imagine the exchanges that would've taken place if he did a lot of the things he did this season if Rick was around?
Soderball
Can you imagine the exchanges that would've taken place if he did a lot of the things he did this season if Rick was around? Jolly would receive that treatment not for his(lack of) talent, but for his on-court demeanor and suspension. One he has little control over, the other he has complete control over. Quality Is Job 1
The semester ends tomorrow so I wonder if we'll see another transfer or two. It's now or never I guess Would a guy really continue to be involved in team activities if he wants to transfer?
