Shameful shameful shameful. Bush league. The conference/ncaa should never employ that clown again and should apologize for this. If the guy is not screaming obscenities or displaying them, or throwing things on the court etc. There is no excuse for this farce of an act. This guy is mad because his feelings got hurt i guess. The Green Bay announcer didn't have to leave, either, but I think he did because the official was refusing to resume the game until he left the table. It sounds like he walked away and the official agreed to resume the game, but then the production company (Learfield) and the Horizon straightened out the matter. It seems unlikely that official will work any more games for the Horizon. The play-by-play guy didn't even say anything offensive. Unless the ref was trying to be a bully and got in the announcer's face while he was calling the action, I fail to see how he could have heard anything he was saying. He wasn't yelling or screaming, and with all of the commotion and volume in an arena, I can't imagine the official could even make out a word he was saying.
