Soderberg would trot out the box and one (won) vs this NC State team.

The whole "lutz used to coach charlotte" thing is crap. Every team has the same amount of tape available. There are no secrets to what SLU does.

This game should be a W.

Yeah, disagree with your Soderberg comment. Not sure why you think this NC State team is going to be a push over. They are more capable of beating us than Duquesne or the Bonnies. If they can beat Syracuse, they can beat us.

I do like your confidence....and hope you are right.

Saint Louis appears to be a very good team and it should be an exciting game with NC State. I think it is important to note that the white PG you are referring to was a McDonald's All-American. His back up (Cat Barber) was also a McDonald's All-American. I got to give it you guys as you all are a very confident fan base. Here's to a good clean game.

Also I wouldn't start claiming that someone will have a career day with Beejay Anya guarding him. Beejay Anya does not get a ton of minutes, but his playing time is dedicated as a defensive specialist. He blocks a lot of shots and his wingspan (7'9") is believed to be one of the longest in the history of basketball. Longer than Shaq, longer than Kevin Durant, even longer than Michael Olowokandi.

Guess how many I give that your unathletic point guard was a McDonalds All-America? You guessed it, zero. That is completely irrelevant at this point. He's in his second year in college, if you still have to point to his his school rankings and accolades to justify how good he is then he clearly isn't that good

The Lutz used to coach at Charlotte means as much as Mike Lepore being a player and video assistant at Wake Forest. Not a big deal.

While I give Lewis a tad more respect than you I agree that the McDonalds All-American argument is utter nonsense. He is what he is: a mediocre defender and shooter but a good ball-handler and passer. Whichever of our guards he is on needs to abuse him.

The NC St poster claiming that we are a confident fan base is being absurd. Reminds me of when the Memphis fans came on here a few years ago. I think this game will be a battle, but these big state schools act like we should be surprised about our success. Pisses me off.

Did the pg make the McDonalds team as a McNugget?

You guys should be proud of your season. I saw you guys play Wichita State tough and if I remember correctly you guys missed a key free throw at the end that changed the outcome of the game. NC State had a roller coaster season plagued by controversial endings. Most of Wolfpack Nation thought the opportunity of making the tournament was lost after getting robbed at Syracuse and against UNC. Instead they bounced back and played their way in. Tyler Lewis is not a points guy, but he has been hitting the three ball at 47% in the past 8 games. His strength is an excellent passer with great vision that does not turn the ball over. I have nothing but respect for your successful season, but you have to understand the 15 team ACC was not happy about the chances of the A10 getting more teams in the tournament.

Gotta keep the status quo eh? Doesn't matter how many teams are in your conference, or everyone would be complaining about the 10 team big 12 having 7 teams in the tourney.

Yet he still only shoots 23% from 3. Good god, how bad was he the rest of the season?

This will definitely be a tough game, but it's not like NC State is some dominant force.

I'll stick to my previous statement than no one outside of Warren scares me. Period.

The NCST guy comes on here praising our team, and we jump all over his case? Cripes, let's show a little class here. Everyone has their team, let's respect that. He was respectful, we should return it in kind. That said, I hope we depth charge the Wolf Pack tomorrow night. It won't be easy.

You know it's strictly SLU on this board. If you care so much about NC State fans, go to there board and converse with them there, just ask Mr. Clock.
