Quality Is Job 1
Were any of those guys ESPN 5-star recruits? That's the issue; not your "generic" 5-star recruit. Plus, ESPN is motivated to cater to its largest possible share of viewers: casual fans and devoted fans of Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, North Carolina, and maybe a few others — the schools the casual fan has"heard of." Is ESPN really being objective when they assign their recruiting ratings? Are they practicing unbiased journalism in making those rankings or pandering to the greatest possible audience? I don't know if ESPN had launched its own ranking system when Hughes signed, but there is no metric, at that time or currently, that wouldn't have had Hughes as a 5 star recruit. None. Any solid recruiting news or gossip would be more welcome than discussions about Cuonzo visiting his sister, Tilmon's familial relations, or Porter's dad's bank account. No. Already had his schools listed. Not likely. Pickett news should pick up soon. Weird his stuff got deleted. Was he spooked from that one tweet? SLURadioBoy
I heard that Pickett is visiting SLU sometime this week. Can anyone confirm that?
Glorydays2013
Can't confirm but I'm sure frank will tweet about it Monday if it's true. Extremely likely since I don't think he had an official visit before and he lives so close
Pistol
As Taj mentioned before, Raynere Thornton committed to Memphis. Isaiah Coleman-Lands committed to Miami-Ohio. Chris Duarte played in the Jordan event with French. He doesn't have any clarity on his decision or timeline yet but says Syracuse, WKU, and Seton Hall are involved. Isaac Kante is visiting Georgia today. He is setting up a Georgetown visit. Targeting early May for a decision.
SLURadioBoy
I'm surprised Pickett hasn't received more offers at this point. Maybe Ford can get a commitment this week.

I just seems that every offer gets tweeted out these days, so I just assumed he hasn't received any others.

Or maybe the non-local schools (sans Western Kentucky) that aren't in a power 5 conference know they have no chance against Travis Ford and are sitting this one out. ACE
Turner-Morris or Whaley... which one would we rather have? Very different types of players. Turner-Morris seems like a traditional post up player. Below the rim, physical player. Whaley is a lot thinner - more a wiry athletic type of player. Without knowing much about them and assuming all things being relatively equal about the players' ability, seems we have a bigger need for the more traditional post up player.
